Hi! 😊
Thanks for picking up some of the slack, again. About to chat my fingers wound.
Hiya lovely, how have you been? 🫂💜
Very very busy because the guys were bored, while you were away. 😂
Weather has finally cleared up a bit. I live in a swamp, now.
The guys were bored! Now surely that’s not correct 😂😂
Winter here so in hibernation mode 💜
Theoretically, we have summer, but all it does is rain.
Send it down under, we could with it!
It's been bitterly ironic, as southern Germany has had record flooding and has turned into a gigantic swamp, while southern Europe and northern Africa has been absolutely baking and dusty.
Oh my, weird weather all round.
How you’re all safe and sound?
We're fine. Just have colds.
it is almost certainly the result of more than normal amounts of energy hitting the poles, the aurora in early may was a sign of this
here in the atlantic the northern winds are absolutely frigid right in the middle of summer
Hey, yeah, we were talking about that, this morning. Still haven't switched to our Summer wardrobe because the wind at night is so cold.
wow ok, i mean, big long stretch of ocean between me and the polar ice here but where you are there's all scandinavia and the baltic sea
and yeah i'm just reading now about the extremely high temperatures in the middle east right now, and before that there was the drought in sub saharan africa that has led to a huge shortage of cacao and now coffee as well
see, what it is, is that the energy from the sun brings, as a primary thing, electrons into the air, these electrons then stick to dust and this ionized dust nucleates the condensation of water
so if there is a higher than normal amount of electrons getting through the magnetic field down at the poles logically it's going to lead to more cloud cover and rain in the polar and temperate zones
and because that humidity didn't get to get driven south, and instead mostly fell on the temperate zones, the subtropical zones are going to have much lower than normal rainfall
gonna need to add this data to my computations... i mean, the water is great but nobody built anything in the last 40 years around here for sub-20'C temps, it's horrible
normally may and june here are supposed to be between 20-25' but this year it's barely touched 20 on average
not only is the global warming story wrong about humans having any impact, it's completely the opposite direction of what is physically happening
it's gonna be frostpunk, not mad max
i gotta stack me a stack and build my cold- and radiation-proof house and buy me a herd of sheep and marry me a textile craftslady
Well, it'll at least cause everything to shift. Germany is slowly becoming wetter, again. So, more evergreen trees, like it used to be.
More like the dreary-but-mild weather of my childhood. Le cold swamp.
unfortunately i think it's gonna be le cold giant inland sea before too long if the rainfall keeps increasing
here's a useful site i just found that lets you show what is above ground when waters are at that altitude:
