How do we get more people to switch to Nostr?
Thatās gonna be the uphill battle in my view. The network effect of Twitter is going to be tough to break. But weāre so early on Nostr. The ecosystem with (hopefully) be vastly improved in the coming months and that will hopefully make it easier for people to switch.
Because, honestly, if I wasnāt interested in bitcoin and open protocols in general then Iām not sure thereād be a reason to check it out. Nobody that I know personally is here yet.

Saw that also. I am here as the masses will slowly trickle over. Some will never see it or care. I asked a class of juniors in hs what kind of government they could live under. One asked if they could use their phones as others nodded. I said yes, at that point they didn't care, any government. These are good kids. I don't teach my ethics or morals, I teach anatomy,, biology and physics, so I left it there.

I'm not thinking that's his intention as he has been very clear about elimination of bot activity from the beginning. Most BTC proponents have theorized BTC could solve this as it would make bot farm activity too costly. Elon unfortunately is just implementing the Fiat version. Will it contribute to what you say, a move towards authoritarianism? Absolutely.
I feel bad for those who require to use Twitter for employment purposes. A lot of jobs require community engagement and they are the ones who have no way to shelter themselves.
