im not sure. im not an expert but i like stretching in the water & doing somersaults. i feel like in the water it is easier to move around a lot & kinda feel out what would help.

I lay on my back and bend one knee and let it fall to the opposing side. Don't force it but let it fall on it's own.

Works everytime for me. I have lower back pain from hovering over an ice well 12+ hours at a time.

Hope that helps

Thanks. Ill give that one a shot. After a few double shifts in the kitchen im in full old man mode ๐Ÿ˜‚

I had to buy inversion boots that cling to my chin up bar. Super helpful to decompress my knees and spine.

Getting old sucks.

Lol true. I was bending over to pickup mats lat night and almost ate it ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've been thinking about inversion therapy, and looking like bat man sleeping. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

These are some of my favorites (I have a lot of lower back pain recently and these have been helping)

Thanks!

Yeah man. Especially try those gentle twists on the ground. Omg helps so much. Also using a heating bad if itโ€™s muscular ๐Ÿ‘

You can start easy, with your get on the ground, and just moving your knees from side to side, then work up, or down with your knees, if you see what I mean.

I have chronic back pain from previous metastasis in my spine, including all 5 lumbar vertebrae, some causing large fractures.

I do these on a daily basis to get moving in the morning, and before I go to bed, and it really helps.

Low back pain is often related to weak transverse abdominal muscles research how to strengthen

What this guy said. It's really dependent on what's going on.

Look up core protocol for back and see if that helps.

This.. helped so much!

Lie on your stomach on a hard floor. Elevate your shoulders a bit if you feel no pain in your lower back when doing so. If you feel a pinch just lying on your stomach then adjust the angle the other way by placing a pillow under your stomach.

In this position you want to do deep, slow belly breathing. These deep breaths in and out will flex your lumbar spine slightly in and out. This motion creates a pumping action that will push the disk fluid back the other direction and correct the bulge in your lumbar disk. Do this a couple times a day for a few weeks. Over time you'll be able to elevate your shoulders higher and higher without discomfort when you do this. Eventually you'll be pain free.
