Meme coins were created because someone that was a hardcore Bitcoiner, like vitalic, realized that he couldn't rob people using bitcoin, so he made erc-20 tokens. Then people wanted to scam other people and the used the eth ethos and made other dump coins juat like vatalic did eth.
