Whut? So when you use Bitchst, Nostr is used in the background? How is Nostr used and for what reasons? I thought all communication goes through Bluetooth.
Peer to peer is direct Bluetooth. If there’s no one around you, it’s routed through the Nostr network.
If someone in your bluetooth mesh also happens to be connected to the internet, traffic gets relayed over nostr, and then also out to any other Bluetooth mesh networks similarly connected.
Are there tech docs, besides the code, that explain how bitchat uses Nostr? Are bitchat notes/posts stored on relays besides the peers?
Its going to be hilarious when the relays require payment with SATs over lightning to use their shitchat

Doge is co-mined with Litecoin, I was pushing Nostr on some Litecoin chatgroups recently as Litecoin also uses the Lightning network - so it would be relatively easy to gain there too...
