How do you deal with the munchies? It’s literally the only thing that I struggle with in terms of my diet

That’s where the nuts and fruits come in

Also I try to wait as long as I can before I eat my first meal of the day

Same. I lost 50 Lbs in 2 years eating like this.

I started doing kettle bells and increased my protien intake because I want to gain weight now.(muscle mass)

Nice! I need to start focusing on upper body, I have been focusing exclusively on my leg

I need to focus on both. I've always liked cardio, but never got into weight lifting. I need to change that.

Fun fact: cardio doesn’t actually help you lose weight in the long term. Our bodies adapt to how much energy we burn and tries to preserve calories when we burn more doing physical activities. So if you run 2 miles every day, your body will try to maintain its normal baseline weight by reducing calorie expenditure in other parts of your day (e.g. thinking). This is why people tend to gravitate back to a specific number on the scale regardless of whether they gained or lost weight. Your body wants to stay there. The only way I’m aware of to change that baseline number is through diet changes or muscle growth.

I know this now, but didn't know this when I ran marathons. 🫤

You workout at a gym or at home?

I walk to the park and do pull ups and push ups.

If you don’t have a gym membership, this is a very simple way to get a good leg workout in. I recommend that you use a timer and record how long you squat and how much weight you are squatting. Then aim to increase the time and weight to make sure you’re getting stronger each week.

Thanks. I have no idea what I'm doing.🤣

This looks super easy.

Simple not easy lol

Yeah, I meant it's easier than buying a rack. 😅

Easier on the wallet 😂

Haha thats my main issue 😅 Fucking weight gain 🥹

Yo guys kinda motivating me with these mindsets!

Need to start working out allready…

If nostr:npub12r0yjt8723ey2r035qtklhmdj90f0j6an7xnan8005jl7z5gw80qat9qrx can, I can do it too 👾

(for Americans its 131,20 lbs)

Could I do 200lbs in muscle mass? Btw I’m arround 180cm(5'11")

That’s gonna take like 2 years. Possible but you need to lock in.

Wow, didn’t expected that much.

Would you suggest using some weights?

I’m more thinking of nature calisthenics than gyms. So probably that will took more then 2years :/

Look up home workouts on YouTube from Drew Baye and Jay Vincent. High intensity training is the best form of training I have found over the years. Do a leg, chest, shoulder, and back workout each week to failure. Those guys will explain how to do that. If you like reading then check out body by science written by Dr. Doug McGuff.

Bookmarked your note. Thanks for suggesting 🤜🏼🤛🏻

Bro I can throw down fuck tons of fruit and gain weight lol those late night smoothies during munchie hour is never filling haha

Same. My killer is cheese. I fast until 2-4 every day. Stick to mostly eggs at first meal.

I wait until I'm cooking dinner have my nightly smoke and find the munchies are fulfilled after donner and cheese 'desert'.

Quality cheese helps curb the hunger. But I'm also active all day and could use a few pounds of gains 🤷‍♂️

I eat a ton of cheese. I'm not sure it's healthy, but it keeps me full.

Some people can’t handle dairy. Others can. Only way to know is to cut it out for an extended period of time and see how you feel. My mucus and digestion improved when I did that. But it’s so delicious that I still have it in smaller amounts. Some argue that you need to build up your bacteria with raw milk and raw kefir to better digest dairy but that hasn’t really helped me.

I also eat ground beef and grilled chicken

sounds good, I still struggle with no sugar after a feew weeks without it

This was one of the more recent things I axed. You got this!

Ya let me know when your ready for the ancient herbal wisdom. Marry Jane is one of them but a lot of herbs I can put you onto.

Let’s hear it

you ready bro? This for you but now all of nostr will have the list. ima give you the real knowledge these ones are gate kept bc we don’t want gringos boosting the demand and manipulating the prices on us.

(International herbs)

Seamoss (purple)

Shilijit ( Himalayan)

Ashwaganda ( organic powder)

Hemp seed hearts ( purchase whole-lightly roast at home)

Maca

Ginsing ( hard to find bc the Chinese market will screw you )

Moringa

Black seed oil

(Western philosophy 7 perfect foods)

Lime ( not seedless)

Cayenne ( whole )

Ginger (organic fresh skin on)

Olive oil (fresh check produce date)

Honey (local)

Apple cider vinegar (local with mother glass bottle )

Garlic (black)

I started adding hemp seeds I bought from WinCo to add mo protien to my eggs. How do you roast them?

2 ways if you got the hemp seed hearts you need to be super gentle like roasting cumin seeds on low flame stainless

If you got the whole seed with shell then you throw them in the toaster oven until you smell the hippie smell

YouTube roasting any whole spices and just do what the chef says

I have hearts and cast iron, but am not trying to start a debate. 🤣
