Do not resent people higher than you.
It’s a trap, because you cannot become something you are resenting.
Admire those you wish to be like and study them.
Over time you will become like them.

I’ve realized that 9/10 ppl who complain about their boss are the problem themselves, be it their attitude, work ethic or lack of personal ambition ….. become the leader, not just in work! My dad used to say ‘if you’re goal isn’t to get to the front of the pack then don’t be surprised when you’re view doesn’t change’
But I resent politicians and never want to be one…
Means you’ll never have power and will always be ruled. Likely you’re ok with that on principle but that’s what it means.

Resent people is what leads to competition and innovation tho.
We don’t resent them! Only the things they say and do once in a while

I see it regularly at work. The people who constantly complain about management or rich people etc go nowhere and get further entrenched in their rut. The people that are positive and focus on building are the ones that don’t get left behind.

I’ve seen countless colleagues straight up reckin’ their carreer/life progress by being pityful no-people who radiate resentment.
And only a handful of colleagues humble enough admit fault and failure to later progress, evolve and end up leading the way. ⚡️
