Also, another reason to move to Italy is that if the house isn’t considered a luxury home, there’s no property tax. It’s typically any home less than 1 million euros.
Income wise, capital gains on stocks is 26% and Italy has a deal for no dual taxation if you’re a U.S. citizen up to like $135k equivalent (Italy has a flat tax up to €100k and no extra taxes after that).

It has a very high adoption for Bitcoin payments in the shops, bars, restaurants etc… You can even pay your taxes and buy a house in Bitcoin.
i'd suggest taking germany off the list... while their bitcoin holder laws are good in theory for hodlers, I've never seen a more officious, rule-following,, faux progressive, herd-like culture anywhere in the world 🙈

Rural France is great! Cheap Wine, Good food and good wine and Cheese, and don't forget the pâtisseries, wine and the cheese, the bread, wine and cheese.
The scenery is awesome and you get regularly eat cheese and drink wine, what more could you ask for, maybe more bread, wine, cheese and fresh salads vegetables and don't forget the cheese. And meats they're all good too!
Each region is run by a Mayor who listens to its citizens or else they'll lose their jobs but don't forget to try the cheese.

Im Swiss myself and this could honestly be a great option if you can make it happen. Switzerland is kinda slept on right now, but they are pretty far already with Bitcoin and historically know the value of good and hard money. And they are great with finances overall. And they are not in the EU.
I hear very good things to about Costa Rica too.
It might be interesting to keep an eye on Japan over the years to come. Too early to say.
Also, don’t sleep on Eastern Europe. It’s lovely and quite affordable. But it depends a bit on how it turns out with „Russian expansion plans“.
