How do we deal with everyone having too much of everything? Surplus is a problem that harder money doesn't solve.
We already have people ordering 3 pairs of shoes and returning 2, and the returned shoes get put in the incinerator. This is because the factory price of producing 2 pairs of shoes is easily covered by the sale of one pair of shoes. Soon, the factory price of returning 20 shoes will be covered by the sale of one pair of shoes.
Like those Chinese factories, that will only sell you 200 t-shirts, so you have to order 200, to get 10, and then burn the remaining 190.
Like the people who are unemployed, but eat enough food for 5 people and then get "free" medication to shrink themselves back down to 1.2 persons.
Everything will be like that, more or less. Only limited by how fast we can extract and grow things, and we can do that really darned fast.
Because, you see, the population will be aging and declining, so we will be producing more and more goods for fewer and fewer people....
