they don't want friends they want followers
As the number of followers approach infinity, the number of replies approach zero. Just math. They’re only humans.
This phenomenon reminds me of a guy named Randy who has a friend, also named Randy.
They hang out and chat with each other every Wednesday at the soup kitchen. To the average observer, it just looks like one person.
Both of them have some pretty dank opinions on government, the stock market, all sorts of stuff. Just like twitter folks who show up here expecting all eyes on them.
I never had any clout at all. My Nostr following is all PoW.
