I don’t want anything to do with meat after a fast.. why? If I’m eating instinctively my body should be telling me to eat it, no? Yet it’s screaming banana, olive oil, tomato, blueberry, etc..maybe beef doesn’t do what I think it does and it isn’t the nourishment I typically think it is.

I usually feel amazing after a good steak. I bought a ribeye and fresh bacon for after the fast.. but I don’t want it AT ALL..I can’t even think about cooking them… 🤢. Maybe I’ll feel differently tonight. Idk 🤷🏻‍♂️

Weird, I just crave steak and seafood. I dont want anything to do with carbs on the back end. Steak and lobster to break the fast is highly reccomended

I guess we all feel it differently.. thinking of breaking down meat right now over fruit just seems not enjoyable at all. I had a big glass of warm bone broth, was fantastic.. but I don’t want the steak. 🤔🤔🤔

Yah all bodies different. Mine is definitely a carnivore.

Listen to your body, maybe you should fast for a bit long till you are salivating at the thought of steak and Bacon!

😂😂😂. I really don’t think it will happen!! I’ll still eat the steak tonight I’m sure, but I crave fruit after a fast, I’ve already had blueberry, raspberry and jackfruit. 😂😂😂

Hahaha Thats only like a 10 minute fast for me to start thinking about steaks.

Since you’re coming off a fast I’d assume that’s your body telling you it needs quick, easy access glucose. Steaks a protein with some fat so maybe that’s why you don’t want it. Your body was probably using fat and protein reserves to push you through the fast but now it wants quick energy for rapid recovery… just a guess 🤷🏽‍♀️

Makes sense.. the teaspoon of honey i had with the blueberries wasn’t even on my mind.. something told me to eat it

Definitely listen to your body! It knows what it needs. It’s probably working on fixing something that’s broken and needs a little energy boost!!

Had the same experience after fasting. Didn’t want to eat meat anymore, and any type of toxin felt really bad even after days, smoking and coffee, etc

It’s interesting how we all feel it differently. Perhaps listening to my body is just listening to my mind and somewhere along the line I agreed that I breakdown fruit way easier than meat so my body follows suit.

Could be, might also be something deeper, such as now with a clean body and mind you don’t really feel like eating your fellow mammals :) Then after some time, it wears off once you start putting toxins back into the body, I’m not vegan or vegetarian but with fasting I really felt disgust towards meat.

I know exactly what you mean.. I had this thought people shoving dead bodies in their food holes and I was a bit disgusted. 😂😂😂

when i was meditating 1h a day for a good while this happened to me also 🫢

couldn't rly justify it anymore in my mind 🫢

Ye also with 🍄

Yeah.. I struggle with it from time to time

🤣😂

When I break a fast with fatty meat I have the most grotesque liquid bowel movement.

I rationalise that it's better out than in. That it's a purge of nasty stuff accumulated & then liberated during the fast.

I've never had to struggle to get it down or find the motivation to cook it.

I feel I'm about due for 60-72hr fast.

That also makes sense

When I did my king fast I was disgusted by meat for at least a month. It made me sick. Only fruit and vegetable and natural foods from the earth.

Wat king fast mean? #tardstr

🤣 *long fast #tardstr

😂😂😂😂

Maybe your body has been digesting nothing for several days and needs to build back up vs dive straight in. Crawl before you walk.

Also, I wonder in the days of hunting and gathering surely we’d first snack on weeds and bugs on our way to killing a deer???

In Ayurveda they say when the body is in balance, it will show you the way with healthy cravings.

When the body is extremely out of balance, it will tend to crave things to maintain the imbalance.
