This is an important difference between nostr and the shitbird. There is no algorithm here, so your posts won’t automatically be skipped to the front of people’s timeline. Therefore you need to think about when to post and when to do a repost or boost.
This makes the level playing field for the plebs to have a voice. Signal floats to the top because people repost this propagating a message through the protocol.
