you know when you think of something and get an actual sick feeling of dread in your stomach? how does one rid themselves of the stomach part? I want to think through things without it. thanks in advance.

Here’s the neat part, you don’t!
Means you care.
Don´t think in this "something" avoid acid food especially in during breastfeeding... hope you find your way... if hurts its not ok!
For me, that really only happens when I feel unprepared or I am procrastinating something I know is important. I get over it by preparing and stopping the procrastination phase.
Press or tap Stomach-36 for a few minutes

For lesser problems I would say gradual familiarity and meditation. After examination, to let it drift away when you have gathered the insights you needed.
Some things however will always provoke a churning stomach.
Yes I get it too sometimes..
Only thing I found is to lay down, drink some water, and don’t think about that thing for a while.. Try again when you feel better..
I was told to put attention on the part of the body where you feel it. Forget the thought focus on the feeling and focus on where it is in the body. Somehow that’s supposed to make it go away and it does work. The key is letting go of the thought for a little bit. I hope that helps.
Depends on:
- If it is something you need to do but somehow you play an imaginary scenario in you head and that’s creating this disturbing feeling.
- It’s not something you need (or can) act on it but you afraid of something. Like a sickness that bot happened, an accident or stuff like that.
- It might be something that you or someone you care go through a difficult time and that feeling of uncertainty can create this
Etc…
I am not sure if there can be a blanket advice about any of it but starting talking about it or posting a note on Nostr to start a collective discussion about it seems like a good starting point :))
I definitely tend to catastrophize and something about being a parent has made me more conscious of it than ever. Talking always helps and I don’t share these thoughts anywhere else 😅
It could be attached to anxiety, which is attached to fear or regret. What happened in that moment to cause the fear and why? Fear of failure? Doubt that you’re good enough? Is there another person attached to it? If so, forgiving them, and accept the moment and move on, leaving it behind. For me, fear is when I forget to trust God has a great plan for me and if he called me to do it, then He has a victory in store for it. I pray, and then I’m back at peace. 🥰🙏🏼🫂 Hope this helps! You got this. 🙌🏼💥
