You don't need a single minute in a gym to get into elite shape.
Enough with your bullshit excuses.

Diet and long walks would suffice tbh. Body weight squats and push ups would be a plus.
I disagree.
You need to walk aggressively or jog.
You need to do bodyweight squats and pushups.
Bonus if you do pullups.
Just do one rep at a time even if you have to start with a chair and only lower yourself.
In fact the going too a gym is a complete waste of time and resources.
I disagree.
It depends on what motivates you and space for equipment.
I use my gym membership to pushpull the sled, manual incline resistance treadmill for backwards walking, weighted hip thrust, and slight incline dumbbell press.
I do kettlebell swings and deadlifting as well but I admit that's easy to do at home.
I also only pay <20$ a month.
you can guy most of those thing and have a small home gym for much less than a gym membership will cost you, minus some larger equipment like the sled for example. If you're looking to body build and need real heavy gear then maybe the gym is justifiable.
For me is always push-ups, pull-ups and kettleblells (kettlekids), and I said we do not have excuses.
I am trying to point out that there is a whole continent where women are attracted to men who do not look strong.
Id rather be single & physically prime waiting for my dime than be a weak MFer wasting his prime 🤌🤝😎💪
Yeah I bought some things to work out at home and aside from adding plates or heavier DBs or KBs, I’m all set. Just a mindset question moving forward.
I want to improve my cardio but I’m physically stronger than I’ve ever been.
Jog 3miles 2-3x a week.
Do you do squats with heels lifted to obtain full ROM?
My rack is currently in transit 😁
Goblet squats have been flat footed so far but I do really want to get some ramps or w/e they’re called.
My biggest area of work needed is hinge mobility/strength. It’s gotten better but it’s something I want to build intentionally.
I use this for heel lifts and there's two levels essentially so you can target the range of quad & hips.
Best piece of equipment I've ever bought btw.

Ahhh this is amazing. Thanks mate.
I love rolling my feet with a lacrosse ball so this is a cool progression of that.
I’ve been watching a yt guy talking about foot mobility/strength and how much it impacts, so this is an opportune link.
Yes exactly!
This comes with a roller that's better than the lacrosse ball.
Eventually you'll be able to grip it with your toes and balance on it 👀
DOPE. Thanks!!
Now I just need to figure out a reason for why I need to stay barefoot at the office 😂
Here’s that guy. Some cool workouts/perspectives in his long form content.
I train, run, & wear these everywhere that isnt raining / wet.
Goblet squats 100% use heel lifts; I usually use a 25lb plate in the floor. 1/2 inch to an inch.
Regular ass to grass squats will "force" some mobility in the heels, hips and hamstrings. Don't let your knees flare out on the squats. Work your way into depth by sitting in the squat position weightless until it's comfortable/tolerable.
Thank you!! I can start using that too.
I have a hard time getting low and being stable. End up feeling tippy. I know it’s just the stabilizing needing work.
I can sit in a squat alright, but I feel like that position is not what a squat should be. Maybe I’m wrong 😂
With the heels lifted sitting in the squat is elite.
I do this.
I also do one body weight squats day to failure & one weighted but nothing too heavy - always to failure.
I also do Nordic Curls & poliquin step on my stairs with my heel lifted with one of the solemates.
This helps!! Thank you!
It's an art more than a science. Everybody has slightly different anatomy / proportions so it's an individual journey.
I focus on keeping my weight in my heels. I think 70/30 heels/toes weight distribution, don't want to get over your toes too much. Bar should move within your footprint.
