I need a movie recommendation for tonight. I can't make a decision. What's something that you've seen this past year that you've enjoyed?

Calibre. On Nexflix.

Midget Nymphos Volume 12.

With my luck, this title actually exists.

Lemme ask nostr:nprofile1qqsfpuyj8re4zneync4nx0npr8h0f95hqg8e2m7hkeejecgcm5d48jcprdmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68yurvv438xtnrdakj7qgkwaehxw309ahx7um5wfjkc6t5v4ejummjvuhsz8mhwden5te0dehhxarj94ex2mrp0yhxgetjv44k2mmnwvhx6ef0g9a028 if she's down for it.

I was eyeing that one up, but Katie doesn't a fan of horror movies 😭

It’s not really….. She’ll love it

Whole family loved it wife and kids 19/17/14

Thanks for the recommendation. We enjoyed it. Good movie!

Right?!

Awesome 👏

Wew that's a movie. Viewer discretion.

This is a wild recommendation.

Not everybody built for this type of watch

Gaspar Noé made me feel something in a way other directors wouldn't.

Not couldn't, but wouldn't.

Is this your favorite film by him ?

For it's bravery, yes.

Monica Bellucci added to the alure of me watching it

But i agree he touches untapped feelings through the medium of film

I saw this after Enter the Void

I seen this prior to Enter the Void, a film which impressed me in an entirely different way.

I suppose the theme of rape felt more visceral to me than a drug induced ego death.

Word !

I was able to rewatch an ego death themed film multiple times.

The theme of rape was visceral enough where I don't think I've ever rewatched irréversible

What drew me in was the concept of how a story is told in reverse plus the rogue way Gasper Noé directed

Cloud Atlas

The Life of Chuck was really good! Also Companion. If you haven't heard anything about Companion, watch it without looking anything up.

I haven't heard of Companion. Thanks!

Den of thieves

Dungeon and Dragons. Honor among Thieves was fun.

I've seen it twice. Good movie!

If you wanna start a TV series, I’ve been enjoying Invasion

https://youtu.be/DlaHxL3mHAU

This movie was cute. We watched it when it was released.

Both hold up after all this time

Choke is an excellent documentary

100% especially for martial artist practitioners

Watch a Bollywood musical for diversity

The World According To Garp

Classic.

I saw this a few weeks ago. It's good!

Sputnik (2020),

No country for old men (2007),

The apprentice (2024)

Phoenician Scheme was fun, if you like Wes Anderson movies

RRR.

When you say movie, what do you mean are you saying one part two our thing or a miniseries of some sort?

The Bank of Dave

Go way back and watch Second Hand Lions. Go to bed feeling good about being a man.

Dirty Dancing (1987). I can't get over the foot scenes with Jennifer Grey.

Friendship with Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd. Hilarious dark comedy.

Uncut gems!

Intersteller, but I watch it alot.

Tetris!

The covenant

Tetris is so good 💜

Sinners

Swingers

Stepbrothers

Molly's Game

Three entertaining flicks.

I watched Lost Boys last night. Pretty Good.

Super 8

Spielberg is producing J.J. Abrams’ adventurous family movie about a bunch of kids and an alien coming to town.

The Life of Chuck

Anything by Neil Breen

Master and Commander. Excellent guy film.

A Dinesh D’Souza documentary?

Don Jones

Black Bag has good acting and keeps your mind engaged. First decent new movie I’ve seen in a long time.

The hunt for red October

Chinese top gun was pretty good.

https://youtu.be/3pt3cpD8Pao

Idiocracy, it's a documentary, but made like a film 😂

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/

I've seen it many times 😂

If you're heading over to the UK soon and want some British historical culture, then a Sherlock Holmes film starring Basil Rathbone, perhaps:

The Hound of the Baskervilles:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0031448/

Flow

Hacksaw Ridge

Sinners.

It blends horror, music, and deeper thematic threads in a Southern Gothic style.

The Fall Guy

That's a tough one for real. I'm not sure if I've seen anything the past year that was worth watching from Hollywood. I think that you might like watching this instead: https://youtu.be/XAGJAGZkH0o

If you like it, please let them know desk mouse sent you the recommendation. There's two parts so you'll get close to an hour of content. Plus He has a lot more where that comes from if you check out his YouTube channel.
