My kids crave play time with my wife and I….how can any self-respecting parent not want to meet that need?

This just pisses me off.
Kids are best off being able to adapt to different kinds of play. Yes I rough play and even do puzzles, but at the park it’s HIS job to play. I stand back and watch him do his thing. We also have lots of solo play time at home . They NEED to get good at being bored (not entertained) and engage their imaginations. Parents that are ALWAYS in their children’s consciousness and attention are doing it wrong IMO.
That's some fucked up behaviour. I guess Christmas is cancelled too. Where's the magic? The rough play? The learning by the parent as well as the child? The joint experiences? Where is the love?

What if someone is a threat to your system but you can’t put them in camps? If you really despised someone, acutely so (maybe because their existence disproves your founding principles), probably the worst thing you could do would be gaslighting their children into self sterilising. Do that for 35 years and those people are destined to vanish too.

This has actually been a “strategy” in #china for a few thousand years. More directly, the Han Chinese will leverage all sorts of approaches to procreation to suppress one group in favor of the Han.
Consider this. The Chinese lost and then were ruled by the Mongolians and the Manchurians. What happened next was inter-ethnic marriages which, over a few generations, resulted in the Han effectively reassuming control from the original invaders.

Makes me so sad for them and the children. They are an accessory they get tired of unless they can be used to virtue signal. Play with your kids and when they grow up, keep playing.
