One of the dumbest arguments against low carb eating is the need for "metabolic flexibility." Low carb eating is the ONLY path to metabolic flexibility. People who eat sugar all day lose the ability to use fat for fuel.

Even on a zero carb diet, your body produces glucose.

"Gluconeogenesis isn't a thing!"

"Ketones bad!"

I believe the human body naturally contains around 11g of glucose - imagine the totally unnatural numbers people amass through shitty eating...

It´s an argument build to appeal to those who eat a lot of carbs, because it´s not a black or white kind of argument.

Plus I’ve never met a keto person who was as ridged as they claimed. Oftentimes they drink and eat junk food on a semi frequent basis. Meaning you’re getting enough carbs, sugars whatever often enough to have that metabolic flexibility.

I’ve always found carb cycling does best for me. Also really depends on what type of carbs you are consuming

Best dietary measure is no alcohol. Before that low carb discussions don’t make any sense.

Alcohol is basically just sugar in a more poisonous form

When you dont have to disclose your ingredients list either, def more in there than we know.

Microbrew or bust.

Alcohol remains a toxin that fucks up your nutrition, increases inflammation, damages the brain, et cetera perge perge…

I drink one beer a month on avg.

From a micro brew, only open twice a week.

Mfers forage some of their ingredients too 😂.

Fermentations are good for the gut if you dont overdo it.

One beer = 🤙

Just because it’s bad doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. We have to pick our poison … plus the right dosage 😂

I had a beer tasting some years ago. They did crazy stuff there. I remember one that included cranberries. Can be fun

The best argument is that beer is delicious
