Didn’t renounce citizenship but moved to the US and planning on 2nd passport.

Interesting question my friend because I just went through the calculus of moving there and taking that chance to avoid an exit tax when leaving Canada. (If Alberta secedes and you lived there….no exit tax)
I felt the chances were under 30% (which was too much risk for me in what is coming) and therefore I decided to exit Canada and pay the tax.
It is a shame the central scammers of Ottawa are scaring away entrepreneurs and capital away. Glad to have you in the US, and hope you find the place that doesn’t drive you away.
