How long after waking do you start the 6?

My eating window I aim for is 2pm to 8pm. So depends on when I get up πŸ˜…

But happy to adjust back or forth if the day demands it

1 to 8 last 5 years

It’s a life hack. I do 20/4

Two meals?

Just 1 and maybe a small snack.

Amazing.

If you enjoy this you should try a 3 days water fast. Great to reset your body and boost your immune system. ✊🏻

Have done 3 and 4 day fasts before. Very beneficial, also mentally πŸ‘Œ

4 is so tough. End of 3rd day I m about to cry. πŸ˜‚

I find it’s a little unpredictable. Have felt day 2 to be most difficult some times, then cruising on day 3.

For me It's upwards sloping from day 1 until the end.

Staying busy is the key.

Try pushing itπŸ’ͺ I did multiple week long fasts.

Hardest part at Days 2, 3 sometimes 4. After that 0 hunger, great feeling.

My longest was 17 days. I only broke it because I was bored and want to have the distraction of eating πŸ˜‚

If you want to try something new, read up on dry fasting and how it might be beneficial for your circumstances πŸ’œ

Beyond 3/4 days is not for me since I don’t want to lose muscle

If you don't work out it should be okey.

Working out fasted is a drag, especially if your multiple days deep 😩

So if you at dinner point have a bigger break between workout days you could fit it in I mean πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Yes, no working out. I am trying to walk during lunch break in my hood to get fresh air and sun. Working from home since covid (lost my 17 yr commute into midtown Manhattan). Pros and cons to everything. You can’t have it all - like deciding on a the best mobile wallet to use. Everything has trade offs.

Placebo.

Lol, nah

An effect in 3 day is impossible. 3-6months.

The effect of letting your digestive system rest and reset is instantaneous. Your sleep will improve from day 1, along with energy levels.

micro biome management

Way too early. But it is definately coming just be stubborn

18/6 or 16/8 here. Definitely the way. I've done up to 84hr fasts and omad. Anything less than 18/6 I tend to binge and get worse outcomes. I do like to do 36hrs every month or two anyway just to keep the mental toughness up.

So you do drink as normal?

Yup, no restrictions on water

What about coffee or diet coke?

Black coffee in the morning. Apart from that only water outside eating window

I am on week 3. Only eating at 11am and 4pm. No more sugar, sweets, bread, pasta or rice. I have lost 8 lbs from that alone. Feel great. Lots of energy and mental clarity. Mushroom based tea in the evening. Mud Wtr Chai (new product for them). I highly recommend.

πŸ’ͺ

I am getting back into this too, my body tells me when it’s time ~ and it’s def time 🀣

One more here also, i dont drink alchohol more and my sleep is much better also

Try 16/8 for longer sustainability. Was able to maintain IF for 9 months on 16/8. All the results and positives stayed the same for me.

Electrolytes really help during a fast for fatigue/brain fog.
