What would you be doing every second of the day, every day if money were not an issue?

Exactly.

Building things on nostr for shits and giggles is a part of it 😂

Yes

Swim in the river and lay out in the sun

Golf

You’d get bored of golf all day every day no? Go deeper.

The mental challenge of golf is super rewarding. Also factor in 4 hours in the sun with 3 friends and some friendly competition. But golf would definitely be a small part of the free time in a day.

Preaching the Gospel

Having as many kids as my wife can handle without risking her health. And spending the rest of my days raising them with her

I would build something akin to medieval castle complex on 1000 pristine acres of prime land. True legacy endeavor.

I have wanted to build something similar for a long time, at least the keep tower part.

But made from super adobe instead of cut stone.

Adobe is an amazing material and can last a long time in the right environment.

Have you ever looked into earthships? I’d like to make one someday. I’m interested in structures that can endure for centuries and that rely on analog principles.

A farmer, many years ago in my area built a pyramid from cut granite floaters that they removed from their pastures

How did he move the granite?

awesome

I hope having babies becomes an answer to that for many 🫡

Can’t wrap my head around as to why there are so few big families among bitcoiners, at least that I know of

It’s counterintuitive to me.

Big family = peak low time preference + POW

Children pretty much pay for themselves, their clothes are smaller and they eat less than adults.

And even if they didn’t, having kids and raising them is one of the greatest and most fulfilling things people can do

There are growing families in bitcoin. Met a guy in Vegas with 8 kids lol. Jimmy song is populating the earth well.

Nice!

For me, that will be a clear sign that Bitcoin is improving Humanity: if birth rates among bitcoiners start to rise significantly.

I’m optimistic and certain we will see that.

Our local bitcoin community is pretty heavy on having kids fwiw. Minimum for most we know is 3

Travel slowly all over the world with my family. There is much to see and experience but money is only thing keeping us from living this dream.

Building and growing things, hanging and traveling with the wife and kids, helping people improve the landscape around them, and posting on nostr. All of the things I'm currently doing

Traveling more and flying fucking private. But shitposting on nostr all the same.

traveling and writing poems.

spending as much time as possible with the people i love.

what im doing.

but there’d be an enduro bike involved.

with occasional trips to Costa Rica and Peru.

Gosh, Easiest answer would be, anything I wanted.

what do you want? and then what do you do after you get "everything you want"

You work harder to keep it.

Raising livestock, shooting guns, and building sheds, stables, sauna, and furniture.

Trying to bring actual music back to the world after the collossal bait-and-switch by big tech (swapping all music for algorythmic code) over the last 15yrs. The money is in place; now for the culture and tech

Awesome.

For me this is something I think about daily: build a bitcoin business around something I’m passionate about that helped me support my family while at the same time educating people about how to use bitcoin to directly support another individual in a circular economy

I have a fist business now, and I’m so grateful to be building something that has potential in the the fuste world, but I’d rather be in bitcoin

The same thing but with a better PA

I'd still be a crazy internet cat lady, making jerky while listening to the best music, organizing Agora markets, loudly vocalizing my hatred for the state, and correcting people's terrible spelling and grammar online 🤷🏼‍♀️

But I'd probably also throw in some more international travel here and there.

Mostly the same stuff I'm doing now.

Some of the food I buy would be higher quality and I would travel more. That's about it.

I'd probably buy up a thousand acres of sun drenched land, and build out the maximum amount of solar power production and battery storage, and enough Bitcoin miners to use it all, high a few guys to run it, and have a perpetual solar powered Bitcoin mining farm, forever.

I'd probably also buy up or develop about 10 hydro electric production sites including dams, and run Bitcoin miners off of them too.

Then I'd build out me and my wife's dream mountain house and land, probably in Idaho or Montana, near some town with coffee shops I could electric bike to where I would build community and write books.

I'd continue with our plan to have five kids, and homeschool them all. By the way, one is already on the way, here in September.

I'd hire a tutor to fast track my mastering of Korean, that I'm already doing.

I'd equip our motorhome with a massive solar power system with all electric appliances, and travel the country, and beyond.

I'd get a PhD, maybe in applied linguistics.

As I've already been doing, I'd write books for the rest of my life, and continue tutoring Koreans in the English language.

all sounds doable! would doing the mining be to just to play your part in strengthening the network?

It would certainly contribute to that, but for me primarily no. I'm an engineer by temperament, and I've been trying to achieve financial autonomy for several years now. So getting to put together massive systems based on physics and first principles, that convert the sun into sats, would be a dream come true and help my wife and I achieve financial autonomy in the process, or at least contribute to it.

But I would mine through Ocean pool, which is probably one of the only true Bitcoin mining pools that exists, and that would contribute to Bitcoin mining decentralization and security.

I don't want to schedule now. Why would I want then?

What would you do without a schedule is the point of the question

Right now I am camping with my family... For the last month and at least 3 more weeks to go.

I suppose I would be doing the exact same thing right now but in a better camper.

With better quality steaks.

And I would hire an attorney to act as my assistant. And bring the babysitter with us in her own class A that she can share with my assistant.

Beautiful

But yeah,

I would just be a rich guy pretending to be homeless.

A lot more traveling and building (I don’t think I will ever stop building)

Honestly, my dream is to study music!

Full agency beckons

A bunch of you are going to have to start thinking about the big questions which all come back to:

What is important to me?

What do I choose to do with my time?

Family, friends, working out, tournament golf

Good news is that money already isn't an issue. Probably never was. The abundance by overproduction today makes life easier than ever. Stop dreaming about having lots of moneys and start living your life before you're too old.

the point you have missed Mr hofy doodle

I’d be traveling the world. Taking photos of everything I find interesting. And not giving a damn if anyone likes the photos.

Would you give a damn if they zapped ? lol awesome.

If money didn’t matter, why would I?

lol exactly
