I lost the private key for nostr:npub1s9jsnqnynrh7wjgy7xr0f5y79wv8kwg38vksk2zedrpgs2vnsraqhzmew7 and it's impossible to recover it, so I created a new account. I hope you all manage your secret keys well.

I haven't touched my phone since that last reply, but I just opened Jumble and it reconnects and signs without any issues on my end. I have no idea why this is happening. Could you check if the problem doesn't occur when logging in with bunker:// instead of nostrconnect://?

I don't have that problem on my phone, but I'm starting to think it might be because I check it so often that the connection never really gets a chance to drop and then need to reconnect. For now, I've deleted all connections, reconnected, and am leaving it idle.

I'll probably be able to reproduce that reconnection error tomorrow

They're coming up with a clever excuse to hide their real reason for buying that. That's true OPSEC.

When logging in with NIP-46, it seems much simpler for the client to generate a connection token and pass it to the bunker, especially since the signer usually has a QR code reader.

The opposite approach lacks a convenient way to transfer the token. Manual input is impractical, and copy-ppasting is impossible if the devices are different. Since you're not logged in, direct messages aren't an option either.

I was curious why so many Nostr clients only support the latter method, but I recently realized while making modifications at jumble that nostr-tools only supports it.

If they just thought about the core problem blockchain was built for, the specific solution it implemented, and the cost of that solution, they'd see how ridiculous it is to put anything but transactional data on it.

When the price of the exact coffee they just bought morning has already jumped by lunchtime?

1. Fiat currency loses value over time.

2. If you ask why not just receive fiat and exchange it for something else, it can be very cumbersome and annoying, leading one to think itโ€™s better to just accept Bitcoin from the start.

3. Taxes.
