Ok, I am going to take a cold shower tomorrow for as long as I can. Maybe if I build up a tolerance I can try the river come winter time. Funny thing is I used to “challenge” myself as a young kid this way just out of boredom but as I’ve aged and gotten soft due to chasing comfort, I’ve avoided the cold. Time to change. I think I can tune out the signal, like you said it’s not life or death, just cold.
