For now, I am no longer a reporter for Cointelegraph (so please stop DM’ing me your PRs), but you may see my face pop up on their platform in a few outstanding videos.
And don’t worry, my face will certainly continue to pop up in your feeds as I lean further into video journalism in 2024.
🔍 I want to delve deeper into delivering on-the-ground Bitcoin reporting from weird and wonderful places and query some of the dominant narratives in the Bitcoin space.
So, expect more shorts, mini-documentaries, videos, and (fingers crossed) viral content that you can share with your Gran to demonstrate that Bitcoin is, in fact, really, really quite good for the world 🌍
Or at the very least, we can agree that Bitcoin is better than fiat money 😷.
I am trying my best to publish some rather compelling content from Peru and Bulgaria on my YouTube channel before the end of February. I jet off to Africa this week, camera in hand, for more Bitcoin stories.

The last couple of mins of the conversation sparked an idea that perhaps Lyn you’ve already considered. Guy mentioned at the end Energy is as base as it gets. Which triggered a link with Lyn’s earlier comments around ledgers.
The thought was ‘Is Energy is the base level of all ledgers?’. After all energy is natures money, and money is just a ledger, which would seem to suggest that energy is just nature’s ledger for the universe.

This reflect my stance 100%. To be honest it is the only thing I can be sure of in the conflict. The information we see across social media is polarising in both directions leading to massive uncertainty in what is actually happening.
Jeff Booth has previously discussed how the current system built on false information will just serve to cause more and more unrest and misinformation. When I see the reports on the news and on social media I cannot help but be reminded of this. 
Remember… 
You could tactfully let him know that financial/regulatory landscape for ETH isn’t yet certain in terms of security/commodity. This will add additional unknown risk factors to the price volatility risk he is already exposed to.
If his goal to hold them is for the long term (the best play to balance out short term price volatility) then maybe he should consider Bitcoin as the safe hedge against an uncertain backdrop. Likely he is still very exposed to uncertainty of the fiat system and ETH just is a proxy for that rather than hedge against.
Also send him a good nostr:npub15dqlghlewk84wz3pkqqvzl2w2w36f97g89ljds8x6c094nlu02vqjllm5m video or two that you think he will watch. Being a business owner he may well appreciate the logic behind MSTR holding BTC on their balance sheet outside of operating costs.

Yep, always tough being patient with folks who outright reject the notion of learning more and buying while it was cheap. Still, we all get the price we deserve, and a lot of us will have had our first interaction start with a dismissal.
I will NOT stand idly by while a power grab, for which the prize is my family and friends’ future, takes place.
I will NOT concede that the governance of a people is best achieved through coercion and control, or should be shaped by fear.
I will NOT accept that governments, and in particular central banks, can propose that they are not subject to the laws of physics.
I WILL opt-out of this madness and select an alternative path.
