I’m on day 14 of the 16 day cleanse I started.
It’s about 900-1200 calories a day, mostly raw vegetables and black coffee 😂
No salt, seasonings or sauces. Lots of dry salad, lots of grapefruit and 4-5 eggs a day.
I went through the full emotional rollercoaster doing this, I woke up depressed one morning about 6 days in.
“Why the hell am I doing this!?”
I am working out 7 days a week as well, lifting weights and doing HIIT and yoga. I almost passed out multiple times at the gym in the first week, but my body has adapted and I’m even making rep gains on the cleanse.
This was more of a mental challenge than a health challenge.
2 days left and I’m starting to see abs which is kind of mind blowing to me … I never thought I would have defined abs.
I thought I had too much stomach fat.
In 2010 I started exercising for the first time in my life and did P90X 3 times in a row and lost 40-50 lbs, that was my peak fitness level around 160 lbs.
Over the last decade I yo-yo’d up and down between 190-165, mostly sitting around 175-180 … gaining weight then losing it to make sure I never got back to my peak fatness.
I’m about to surpass my peak fitness level now at 41, and it feels surreal.
The next 3 mths is a muscle building phase.
My goal body is within reach.
Proof of work 💪

Stay humble. Stack Sats. Such a great mantra.
When it comes to wealth preservation and Bitcoin in general, your ego can be a major hindrance - my goal is:
1) to understand what is the best way to preserve and grow my personal net worth so I can have a life of abundance, success and love that I don’t have to ‘retire’ from.
2) to understand bitcoin and why it is the key to the above.
3) to acquire as much bitcoin as I possibly can while staying in consensus with my desires to help others.
4) to live a life of expanding authentic creation, using bitcoin as an abundance amplifier, inspiring others around me to do the same.
If you discover this path, your ego has no place.
There’s no need to get even, get invited, get offended, get noticed, get praised, get pissed, or any other “get” based things the ego is so good at.
When you understand bitcoin, and understand what your unique superpower/ability is … the thing that gives you purpose, and doesn’t feel like work … the ego is not required at all.
You must tame the ego, because it will try to take control.
Stay Humble. Stack Sats.
Idk if people are ready for this, but I believe the world is. First tests of USD Ecash. Backed by BTC.
Everyone can run a mint. Everyone can make a wallet. USD can be spent everywhere BTC is accepted. Open protocols all the way down. No gatekeepers. This is only possible because of the permissionless nature of Bitcoin.
You'll zap USD on Nostr and you'll be happy. It's going to be so insane.

This is coming along so well. Grateful for you and your leadership here in this area of bitcoin scaling 💪
Day 64 of #1002100K
Yesterday I went to grab a coffee with a fitness coach friend. He’s very fit.
The owner of the coffee shop said to me “you look very unique, you must be a hockey player or a boxer!”
WOW what a confidence boost that was.
She said I had the shoulders of a boxer.
Probably was the coat I was wearing, but still - I probably wouldn’t have gotten that compliment if not for doing 100 pushups a day to $100K!
Join us!

I was trapped in this vortex of ironic fiat doom for at least a year, probably more.
I feel closer to tapping into the energy of inevitability … what does it mean to be powered by bitcoin?
No setbacks, moving forward every 10 minutes. Producing value, slowly converting energy into wealth for the next 100 years, attracting more allies daily, operating on a system of optimized rules that are superior to anything before.
Not just unstoppable but unaware of the concept of stopping because it’s not in the ruleset.
Failure is literally not an option if you’re powered by bitcoin energy.
Release time!
In our biggest update yet, we've completely redesigned the home screen, added a nostr-based profile setup walkthrough, and have finished our initial fedimint integrations by adding a federation discovery & recommendations!

Most lightning wallets these days are what we call "invoice-oriented." We want to go back to the basics to solve what people are really trying to do: paying a person. We've added a new wallet creation flow to make the wallet about you!

The new version of Mutiny now allows you to create a new nostr profile, or import a nostr private key from an existing profile. From there, you can now DM other mutiny & nostr users to send or request money directly from the app. No more copy / pasting invoices!

To double down on social, we've redesigned our home screen to put people first. We now include a row of recent profiles for quick access. We also now have tabs on the home screen for looking at your payment activity, your friend's zap activity on nostr, and your payment requests.
Next up, better fedimint support!
Mutiny has had beta support for the fedimint protocol for a couple of months now. Instead of opening a lightning channel on your first receive, with a minimum of 100k sats, you can get started on a fedimint with just a few sats.
This new update adds a way to discover available fedimints to join. Naturally, the discovery process is powered by an open protocol built on nostr. You can see who recommends a federation, and add it with one click.

You'll automatically receive funds to that fedimint, as long as the amount is smaller than 200,000 sats, and you'll automatically spend out of that fedimint, with a fallback to your regular lightning balance. You can also swap from fedimint to your lightning balance at any time.
Coming up shortly after this release, we'll be adding federated lightning addresses that lock incoming payments to your key, which you may redeem at any point by coming back online. We'll be rolling this out to Mutiny+ users first, stay tuned!
Let us know what you think! We're excited about this new direction and need feedback to help us continue driving forward.

I just got a wave of happiness through my chest reading this!
You guys are a beacon for everyone else on how to make p2p work.
I’m super excited to see the fedimint integration and I can’t wait for it to be dead simple to onboard ppl to bitcoin via a few bucks worth of sats in a fedimint.
Pushing the boundaries 🧡
This made me lol
Going to the movies is tough when you’re a food addict trying lower your bodyfat % & your weakness is popcorn with layered butter & dill pickle topping…but I found a solution.
I went undercover as a fanny pack fat guy & like a true Ninja, I snuck in a Covert Creami.
Pounding peanutbutter protein ice cream during a movie held the popcorn cravings at bay.

What happened to church for thee and not for me 😅
That was a hilarious joke a couple years ago - “y’all need to go to church”
After a long sauna session I realized I was only living at about 3-4 out of 10 of my potential for the last ~4 years.
I’m improving every day but I’m not even at 6.15 out of10 yet.
It’s exciting to think about what it will be like when I’m living to my full capacity as my 10.0 self, empowered by Bitcoin.
I’m going to have so much more fun, create so much more and help so many more people.
We won. Very strange.
Reading the book “Breaking the habit of being yourself” and the author observed something similar early on in the book.
Yesterday I abstained. It’s going to be so good today, I can’t wait.

I’m on day 55 of #100to100K
It was just what I needed after a very rough end of 2023 and a holiday binge month derailed me from my otherwise great progress in 2023.
As you can see from this graph I started doing 100 pushups a day at the local peak of my bodyfat % back in Feb.
Yesterday I just hit my lowest bodyfat % that I’ve been what feels like in 10 years.
It’s not too late to join us.100 Pushups A Day Until $100k!

You’ve probably seen GreenpeaceUSA's Bitcoin report by now, and my response (if you haven't been blocked).
Here’s six things that every environmentalist, Bitcoin advocate, regulator, policymaker and media representative should know about GreenpeaceUSA.
I've had this information for over a year, but have held back on going public with it until now because there were initially signs that GreenpeaceUSA would be open to engaging with environmentalists within the Bitcoin community.
With them now blocking me from commenting on their tweets, all hope of that has now ended. So here's what I can tell you about GreenpeaceUSA, and their campaign that have not been aired publicly until now, and which may surprise you.
Firstly, some context: I’m a former volunteer environmental campaigner with Greenpeace. I once risked arrest to stand up for causes I believed in, including an anti-GMO campaign against McDonalds which was successful within 6 weeks, and hailed as an example of how creative direct action can yield fast results. One of the differences: we talked to McDonalds (something no one at GreenpeaceUSA is currently doing with the Bitcoin community).
I know a number of people in the environmental movement, and I would like to thank them for their honesty in whistleblowing on a thoroughly misguided campaign from GreenpeaceUSA from start to finish.
1. GreenpeaceUSA’s campaign does NOT have the backing of Greenpeace International. In fact, other branches have asked questions of GreenpeaceUSA’s tactics, and even said that their campaign is damaging the Greenpeace brand, and has resulted in the loss of subscriptions.
2. Within GreenpeaceUSA, there are a growing number of voices of discontent. There is a growing division between some of the younger crypto-neutral or crypto-friendly millennial in their base, and the directorship of GreenpeaceUSA
3. As we know, GreenpeaceUSA did receive a $5Million donation from Ripple’s chair Chris Larsen to run an anti-Bitcoin campaign. What you probably do not know is that within Greenpeace, several staff have questioned whether this is ethical, or in the spirit of an organization that says it relies only on grassroots funding in its sign-up pledge.
4. Some members of EWG and SierraClub, particularly younger members, were not enamoured with their organization’s collusion with GreenpeaceUSA’s “Change the Code” campaign. EWG has not engaged in anti-Bitcoin rhetoric since 6 April ‘23.
5. The head of GreenpeaceUSA’s “Change the Code” campaign has stepped down and is no longer any part of GreenpeaceUSA. At the time of his stepping down he was reported by a source within GreenpeaceUSA to be questioning the wisdom of the campaign.
6. Within GreenpeaceUSA, we know from multiple inside sources that the Change the Code campaign has been widely acknowledged to have been “not particularly successful”. GreenpeaceUSA’s campaign got off on the wrong foot right from the start, by antagonising environmentalists within the Bitcoin community, such as me. Here’s its half-time report (TL;DR, the worst performing environmental campaign I’ve ever witnessed). https://bitcoinmagazine.com/culture/greenpeace-environment-attacks-help-bitcoin… Now, the campaign is in more disarray than ever, resorting to tenuous ad hominem attacks against Satoshi Action, based on the discover that one of their supporters is a climate denier. True. Well, guess what: one of their supporters is also a plant-based, tree-hugging, climate-activist & meditation teacher: me. That’s the beauty of Bitcoin: it pulls people in from across the political spectrum: we are as diverse as society itself, and that’s what makes us strong. As I wrote recently, “when the ship you’re standing on is sinking: it doesn’t matter if you’re on the left of right side of it.”
I hoped GreenpeaceUSA would end their anti-Bitcoin campaign before their credibility and relevance to the new generation of millennials they are currently disenfranchising is completely severed.
But it seems at the moment they are more intent on doubling down on misinformation. Their leadership must change for them to ever have hope of becoming a true voice for the environment again.
Great information Daniel!
I’m in proof of work mode. Currently down from 18% last year to 15.1% body fat.
My 2024 goal is 170 lbs, 12% bf and I’m dropping 0.05% bodyfat every day.
To get there I am eating 1800 cals/175g protein a day, with 45 min exercise every day, no scheduled days off.
Rest days are yoga & walks.

What a fun memory!
As Sovereign Engineering comes to a close, I'd like to take some time to reflect on the past few months. It feels like it was yesterday when I was sitting in a Panera Bread in NYC listening to a Nostrovia episode when these guys nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft and nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc mentioned a crazy idea to bring a bunch of hackers to an island in the middle of the Atlantic to work on Nostr stuff for two months. At this point I had only recently heard about Nostr, in fact, I was still debating between building on Farcaster vs Nostr 😅. By the end of that podcast I was hooked, I knew I had to find a way to get myself into the Cohort and start contributing to the future of the web. So I started working on a client, learning all about the intricacies of the protocol as I did. A constant flow of Nostr podcasts streamed into my ears, fueling the next few weeks as I put together what eventually became Flockstr. (Funny enough, Flockstr was originally supposed to be a Patreon/Substack client where users could subscribe to creators and consume long-form content). Once my MVP was done I sent DMs to a bunch of the big names on Nostr to get some feedback. Luckily, despite not having much cred to my name at the time, I got some awesome encouragement from nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn & Pablo which pushed me to keep going. Fast forward 4 months and now I find myself sitting in a cafe in Madeira, writing this retrospective as I get ready to return home tomorrow.
In that time I've:
1. Turned Flockstr into the first Nostr Calendar events client
2. Built Flare.pub the first YouTube/Video sharing app on Nostr
3. Built Find Me On Nostr a fun little game to spread the word about Nostr and share some sats
4. Contributed to the Nips repo
5. Visited Bitcoin Park in Nashville to meet a bunch of Nostriches like nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx, nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424, nostr:npub1yaul8k059377u9lsu67de7y637w4jtgeuwcmh5n7788l6xnlnrgs3tvjmf, nostr:npub1atn7mlwt08erz4ap47gef92xfey65a4z9ed9vec53u5kc9v94pusl6h4x3, nostr:npub1j8y6tcdfw3q3f3h794s6un0gyc5742s0k5h5s2yqj0r70cpklqeqjavrvg, and others
6. Joined SEC-01 in Madeira where I got to work with some of the most capable developers in the space and discuss the future of the web (I could gloat more about my time in nostr:npub1s0veng2gvfwr62acrxhnqexq76sj6ldg3a5t935jy8e6w3shr5vsnwrmq5 but this is a kind 1 after all so let's keep it somewhat brief 😂)
7. Created Seeker, an Events app for Bitcoiners built on Nostr ready to onboard the next generation of Nostriches.
8. Presented at Bitcoin Atlantis where I was able to meet some incredible people like nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m, nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8, nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr, nostr:npub1zuuajd7u3sx8xu92yav9jwxpr839cs0kc3q6t56vd5u9q033xmhsk6c2uc, nostr:npub1jpvsahpy0vgq7gu8nfqjkeskce0gwjk8jpss590xkvjh5xxe4epsruqgsz, nostr:npub1zjx3xe49u3njkyep4hcqxgth37r2ydc6f0d7nyfn72xlpv7n97ss73pvrl, and so many more.
All of that in just a few months. I was just checking my GitHub, and my first ever Nostr commit was Oct 5th, 2023 marking tomorrow my 5-month Nostr-anniversary. It's amazing how much can happen in such a short time. Thanks to all who I've had the pleasure of meeting so far in this journey, I can't wait to see what the next 5 months have in store. 🧡
