Great angle to use to remind our friends and family why Bitcoin is so important.
It was really pushed on me. Not in that it was a conversation with a doctor. Nurses would ask and we would say no we're not doing that. Except we had to tell them several times a day before and after delivery. Nurses would come in my room and try to take my baby for the procedure assuming we just hadn't done it yet. It was really weird and eventually infuriating.

I hate to say it because I love these people so much... But I think they can't believe that I was smarter than them to figure out something before they could. And they don't want to learn from me. They want to learn from mainstream sources they've deferred their own authority to so they don't have the burden of thinking for themselves. So subconsciously they don't even register what I'm trying to do for them.
The biggest bummer of this is that I only understood Bitcoin because my husband is not a normie. So our podcast tried to be a way to translate Bitcoin education for the general audience. We have a global audience today but maybe just a handful of our own community who listens. And it took years to get them to.
For my own peace of mind I gotta keep trying because I want everyone to win. I love these people.
We are the "Bitcoin podcasters" in our real-life community and everyone says things like "oh if I only knew about it a few years ago" as if we hadn't launched a podcast specifically for them and announced it in our wedding invitations 😂
