- Pay with #Bitcoin (Roughly $12/mo for lite node)
- For a personal (non-routing) node their "lite node" is more than sufficient
- #Nostr integrations (NIP-05 & lightning address)

- Self-hosted (can run on raspi)
- Offers both Core-Lightning & LND (go with LND to start)
- Tailscale is integrated, making everything work really fast (tor sucks)

- Same benefits as Umbrel, but more security minded.
- 2nd place because the only option is to use tor, which is slow and leads to a bad user experience

I love your idea, I just worry that headlining it with “Bitcoin” camp could turn off the uneducated. We are still seen as crazy people by most.

I love this, but honestly it should not be “#Bitcoin” this or that. We must act with integrity and honor in all things. Show the people how #Bitcoin changes your worldview and makes you better person.
Basically, it should be bitcoiners spreading good because that is the world we are building.
The most important step a man can take is the next one. Always the next one.

Note: I have no desire to run a routing node. Which makes things much easier, in terms of maintenance.
I’ve used both extensively, and if Start9 added something like Tailscale it would be an easy recommendation.
Doing everything through tor just plain sucks. Thusly, Umbrel wins.
