yeah
i just think Bitcoiners should insist on FOSS
particularly for de facto flagship products like CC
I thought it (coldcard) was at one point then a lot of the code was used for the passport and so they locked it down. Totally get that means it was never open source.
I’ve built a couple of seedsigners and setup a kruz and enjoyed them.
Basically, I’d never use a single vendor, multisig and multivendor only.
Understand the comment in relation to the above, still love my coinkite stuff.
Agreed (and I still fall into that trap) and if price indicates demand then the reduction in demand for bitcoin after an Eth hack seems counterintuitive - also a short time preference take 😅
Feels like there is a lot of extraction from weak hands.
I think plenty of people called him out when he first appeared for his awful takes but maybe he was willing to pay to play
BTC pushes 100k
Eth hack on exchange
BTC price drops
Eth price recovers
BTC price falls more
Make it make sense 🙃
Apparently it was banned or something and not in print anymore. There are copies on eBay for $100 too so this one seems creatively priced
In the mid 90s looks like a “mini city” from the 80s, I had the same color lol
Solved this one myself - just include “Nostr” in your node name 🙄 found a couple of obvious Nostr freaks by searching “Nostr” on a node explorer and connected some channels
Not even free shipping
Productive day playing with my nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll
Connected nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3 to my own node via electrs over tor
FINALLY enabled self custodial zaps on Damus by installing AlbyHub then running the script at zap.army (tip from a video by nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424)
It must have been 6 months ago last time I tried but got up and running pretty quick this time by connecting to electrs on start9 over tor. Was able to sync on cellular pretty quickly. Maybe worth another shot if the last time wasn’t a recent attempt.
Do you connect it to your own node?
It's been a while but I gave up on nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3 wallet due to how bad the UX was when connected to my Start9 over Tor.
Wish it was better because integration wth Tapsigner was great.
You know I did have problems but I just got it working - I’m on iOS and I never realized to use tor apps on Start9 via iOS you need Orbot:
https://docs.start9.com/0.3.5.x/device-guides/ios/tor-ios
Then I followed the Nunchuk instructions with the tcp:// prefix and it seems to work great!
https://github.com/nunchuk-io/resources/tree/main/docs/connection-guide
Bit of a vague memory on that technique, but, in hindsight how many people really created more than one thing to inject.
ANYONE CAN PAY YOU IS STRICTLY BETTER THAN ONLY ELON CAN PAY YOU.
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND.
“He explained that unlike conventional assets, Bitcoin lacks inherent value connected with actual objects”
lol, oh Brian.
