It functions very similar to Amethyst, presenting the same feed options, plus some others that give you a lot of flexibility in how you digest the feed. It also happens to be the best client for creating and reading long-form articles, a function that's sorely lacking from Amethyst.
Finally, it has a great wallet system. It provides its own internal wallet making it a great option for onboarding new users, as well as options to call external wallets, or connect your own via NWC. They really covered all the bases.
My biggest gripe, if you can even call it that, is that it's been a little buggy in the past. But their dev team is dedicated, and have addressed bugs quickly. They really are a team you can feel good supporting. I still use Amethyst as my main client app, just because I'm so familiar and comfortable with it, but I use YakiHonne exclusively for long-form articles, and browse with a few times a week, just to keep my finger on the pulse of what's happening. Give it a shot! At the least, it's worth taking a test drive!
