Not one single example of a person being harmed as a result of Silk Road was presented as evidence in his trial. And the bullshit “hit” it’s claimed he ordered was thrown out of court as baseless. He wasn’t found guilty of a single act that harmed anyone. He got 40 years for writing code, essentially.

He was used to make an example. His sentence was completely disproportinate to his alleged crimes. Its really not that complicated.

No seriously. Vote third party to send a message. They never look at the non-votes. All they do is like at the votes and say this percentage of the people want Democrats, and this percentage want Republicans, and this percentage want something else.

Make the something else percentage go up. Otherwise they'll think everyone wants either Democrat or Republican.

Illegality and immorality have nothing to do with each other. Violence is immoral, letting someone voluntarily by a plant and another person voluntarily sell it to them without any violence involved at all is NOT immoral. Destroying either of those people's lives because you are upset or uncomfortable about their sovereign choices in the other hand, is explicitly and directly evil.

Selling palliative drugs for terminal patients on the black market in a safe way to people being prevented from doing so in the white market is a wonderfully moral thing to do.

That's a bit of a myth IMO. Socialism started way back when we realized that living in a village had benefits and advantages over going it alone. Yes BENEFITS. We are all socialists in so many ways. When a loved one is taken by ambulance via public roads to hospital emergency.....
