it's a rare thing when theatre can talk to children as much as adults, but without being actually edgy.

also, i really am a hermit. even if i have the wife and kids there's gonna be a major focus on survivalism and scholarship, and everything in between.

Even the West Bank is much better. Everyone has sort of forgotten about it, but it's bigger, richer, and safer than Gaza. And it's run by Fatah. That has its own problems, but its an impossible challenge to be worse than Hamas. At least Fatah would care, if you literally were starving to death.

Hamas is a Muslim Brotherhood spinoff, so Westerners supporting them must be daft. The last thing we need is a bunch of battle-hardened Islamists getting such a densely-populated foothold on the Mediterranean Sea. There's a reason why Egypt has walled them in: everyone knows they're violent fanatics. They are going to keep fighting until the entire world is under Islam. Gaza is just the place they currently took this fight to. Gaza and Lebanon. And the Sinai peninsula. And... You can't negotiate with people like that.

And all of this perpetual jihad nonsense has crippled efforts to lobby against Jewish settlement encroachment, which is what started the whole thing. It's actually resulted in the settlements spreading faster, as the Israeli government points to Gaza, to justify harsher action against the West Bank, as they know most foreigners don't get the difference. They're now going to double-down on Gaza, while settling at record speeds, on the other end. Nobody is paying attention; they're too riveted by the Gaza gore. People like dramatic pictures, not dull reports about seemingly-peaceful, home-y people paving roads and building houses and drilling wells.

Worst own-goal in history, since the Germans decided they needed more Lebensraum.

Proves that the most valuable thing is property, tho, especially women and land. And you need land to put the women on, so land is the apex property.

yeah, and getting land has become impossible because of the banksters

i don't even want much, some rugged, mostly useless land for any kind of crops, at a high altitude with brutally cold winters.

gonna stack my ass off to get it.

i'm pretty sure once i get it i'll next have the wife and the goats and finally start a legacy

oh, that was the "old" version, the new version is 39. i'm skeptical that this runs fast on my 16gb GPU tho

i think sometime i gotta gather all my notes and get an LLM to analyse them and summarize the patterns of thinking and writing style to make a mini me prompt to write my documentation comments

after having an unpleasant fight with #mochi the #catstr last night trying to put on his harness, i decided that it's just simply going to stay on him now, so he gets used to it being there, and so when i need to open the windows or it's sunny and i want him to get some rays i can just catch the hook of the extending leash i have and then work on getting him to follow me outside if that's what is in the offing.

it doesn't bother him at all, except when he's trying to clean his fur where the harness is. obviously i won't leave it on him all the time, and when it's off he'll get his clean.

he's not gonna be stressed, he simply isn't stressed about having the harness on, except at first, but the more he gets used to it, the less he is bothered. it reminds me of the scene in the game Stray where the b12 robot puts a harness on the cat's back to orb back into, and for the first 30 seconds or so the cat is skulking and posture low and nervous and then he gets over it.

that's how it is.

it's not mean or cruel, the cat doesn't really care either way. but i have to pay the bills for him getting an infection from a cat fight or picking up endless ticks (which happens all through summer here in madeira) or, i can just put the harness on him so that i can open the windows or give him some sunshine. no ticks, no scratches, no sorrowful boy operas. just a happy, shiny kitty who fights the rug and chases bits of plastic around.

i'm not gonna say that this exit doesn't come at a cost. but staying is ensuring that you will pay much more than that cost, within a relatively short period of time, while if you exit, you have a shot at covering that cost and getting in the black

one of the first things that most LLM chatbot writers get wrong is not prefixing their instructions with clear instructions to not talk like a typical chatbot.

it's possible to have a preamble on all requests that specify that you want it to, for example, always type in lower case except for names, sometimes, and acronyms, sometimes, and write like a salty grumpy intellectual and say things that may or may not be verifiable.

then you could have the chatbot look like me.

you haven't seen what happens when you ferment yoghurt for 3-4 days. it gets quite liquid enough. 2 days, sure, you can barely pour it out.

in serbia the most common form of yoghurt packaging is bottles with about 1" diameter openings. it pours out freely. typical ferment time is 2 days.

the fermentation process goes through two stages, the first stage it sets like a gel, but once it runs a bit longer, the protein is broken down more and it loses its cohesion.

it's actually better for you to drink yoghurt when it has been fermented like this but it is very sour. there is a lot less lactose and casein remaining in it after 3-4 days.

when i was a kid there was a brand of yogurt that was sold in giant 2L tubs, and it also was not very thick.

also, it's a classic picture of how all poor countries get poor. corrupt governments, getting loads of money from sob stories, and then using it to systematize their oppression.

without the mechanism of a monopoly on violence, which happens because people have become inured to it, there can't be this shit.

africa is a country rich in resources, but because the place is overrun by violent thugs pretending to be helping people, they are dirt poor, and american and european corporations are raking in the cash from selling their cheaply acquired resources as expensive products to people who are stupid enough to keep voting.

like War Games, when it comes to voting, the only winning move is to not play.

my pedophile content.

my most popular post of all time was when nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 said "it is time for the relays to begin censoring content" and i replied with a picture of underage girl in underwear and caption "no"

i am still getting likes on that post years later.

i ratioed nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 so badly he is still muting me and he hardly mutes anybody.

i won't repost the image here simply because i am above recycling content. i believe in always being original.

yeah, commie, kiddy fiddler. you're disgusting

yeah i was in a pretty bad shape when i went in. but the food was so bad no amount of exercise was gonna gain muscle, i just hit a wall, though i could do 100 pushups and 100 situps lol

yeah, i sometimes think about it, like, if i get taken away what books i would take with me... i got a bible and a few nice apocrypha... lol

hopefully never again but due to segregation of foreigners from gypsies from bulgarians, probably was a lot better experience than i would have had in australia. australian prisoners are notoriously violent.

i was selling bromo dragonfly on black market reloaded. the pigs got whiff of it and arranged a sting and arrested me out the front of my apartment, nearly killed me in the process, 4 broken ribs and severe superficial damage on my forehad. doctors x-rayed my head 5 times because they couldn't believe i didn't have a skull fracture.

yeah, i got stuck in with them because of this older moroccan berber who spoke 5 languages, his main profession was translator. after the second fight they moved me to a cell with much nicer people, a notorious macedonian coke smuggler, the more civilised brother of a pair. now there was another incident in there but not with me, these guys were ok, nowhere near as bad, but there was this whale of a half-gypsy half bulgarian guy he stole food from the macedonian and got totally shit beaten out of him, the guards made jokes about it, calling this guy (his name was Blazho) "klichko" as in the famous ukranian boxer who totally trashed one dude in a fight and didn't have one mark on him.

the culture is absolutely gutter also. i got stuck in a remand center cell with 3 of them for 3 months, algerians, moroccans... ugh. got in a fight with two of them, threw my boot at one haha

just delegate it to an AI coding agent like the rest of the people. the language is a raging tire fire of stupidity. only the highest grade of government bureaucrat could memorize as many badly named rules.

in the daytime, flies that come into my house just hover in square patterns around the middle of the room

at night time, they seem to be a lot more mobile and constantly land on my skin, and are too fast to not see me bringing my hand to end their miserable shit-eating lives.

i'm going to take sending them all outside a lot more serious at sundown from here on in.

i'm not sure it was you but someone recently wanted to challenge the idea that crusts of planets cannot slip in response to forces created by magnetic fields propagated over plasma emissions from stars.

they absolutely can, and it's a little complicated to explain but magnetic fields of planets funnel this electricity into the magma and if the ambient magnetic field orientation opposes (ie 90') the planet's magnetic pole while heating up the magma yes, the friction that keeps the crust in sync with teh core can absolutely decrease and the crust's magnetic orientation can move, because most of the crust is not magnetic, just big patches here and there, which may be pointed in directions opposing the plasma field orientation.

anyhow, maybe it wasn't you. the mention came in some discussion about how it's crazy to think that flapping flags on the moon were not legit. because they aren't, there's no friggin atmosphere, or any reason for them to do that unless it happened in a studio with our favourite director Kubrick who was busy making space movies at the time of the supposed moon landing (not saying that didn't happen, just that the video was not from the moon).

switch your soap for a loofah and just clean yourself with a bit of friction instead. nylon shower scrubbers work too.

i was literally told by a body piercing trainer that cleaning your hands and piercing sites was more about flowing blood warm water and friction. who am i to say that it's not a good way to clean your body? sure is a lot cheaper and faster, too. Rev.Hodl also swears by this, i'm a recent convert but i was already told it was adequate by a trained and certified body piercing safety trainer.

you don't have to use wss://relay.damus.io/ you know

there is no spam mitigations on that relay, it's a dumpster fire. nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s doesn't care, either, he just nukes it every other fortnight.

Protip for people new to nostr and don't know who to follow. Try using nostr:npub17n4cuc4d6y6qh89dekvxrenfkt5s0n49xns00uavjaxpr36c55dq87fyh9 and browsing the algo.utxo.one and nostr.wine feeds. Whenever you see a note that makes you laugh, click follow. You can customize your algo.utxo.one feed by going to https://algo.utxo.one.

Oh yeah and in case you didn't know, Jumble is the best. PV 🤙

it's got bugs here and there but it's been my daily driver for months, and it's also a good pick for relay devs.

haha, nice. yeah, i have to say though, idk why, but whenever i hear french speech around me here in portugal i get ... idk, like i don't like the sound of it and i don't want to be friends with them. i'm not sure where i developed this reaction. maybe it was due to northwest africans, of which many speak french, and are utter... expletives.

my cat came when i put out food. i found out yesterday that he was a kitten that the people up the hill next door to me were feeding.

he was very sick when i got him, ear infection, gingevitis, ear and eye mites, and some kind of upper lung congestion. i took him to the vet and they did surgery on his mouth and gave me medicine which cured everything except for the lung congestion and ear mites. i think he has asthma, in fact, but he didn't start coughing regularly until after his visits to the vet.

supposedly i can fix the ear mites by cleaning his ears regularly but i have tried to do this a bit and it doesn't seem to stop them. i think that the ear mites and lung congestion will be reduced if i just take him with me to a drier, higher altitude place than the seaside location i'm in.

anyway, i hope you find a way to give your beast relief, i presume you mean that dog i've seen in photos.

for us lonely folk, a pet is essential, and will get all the spends that we might have directed towards family things. so, i consider the animal lucky, but i sure will make certain when i do have family to care for that they get more than the pet. but the pet will still be taken care of.

hm well these people have bad taste, i'm surprised they are good to read

personal relays are even better. join a few of those and you'll quickly find interesting things to read. people who you like to read often have good taste in other people to read.

i love tzatziki. but i also love yogurt in general. living in bulgaria i developed a taste for natural yogurt. in almost every suburb of Sofia there is places where people set up a little market stall selling their home produced goods, usually villagers from nearby areas. a very common offering is spring water bottles full of their own home made yogurt. idk where the milk comes from though. cows are not a common sight along the roads of rural areas, but dairies have to be everywhere considering how much yogurt they consume.

ah, nice

the bulgarians do a yogurt and grated cucumber thing, was a side often when i was in a bulgarian open prison, i forget what they called it tho

ah yes, tarator

gradients, by which you mean the rate of pressure towards a change in orientation, which is not even really just a gradient because that's just a momentary measurement.

pressure matters a lot.

also, if the earth's magnetic field is so insignificant, explain why this planet has life on it and none of the others before the asteroid belt. oh yeah, because it's bigger and has a self-generated magnetic field caused by the rotational inertia of the mass, and the composition of its core which is primarily iron, with a little nickel and cobalt.

the crust is not made out of this kind of material. it's mostly silico-aluminates and where there is high densities of iron, it creates strong magnetic fields.

the pole shift phenomenon comes from the differential of magnetic alignments between the crust and the very heavy core which pretty much stays stable in its orientation relative to the rest of the cores of every celestial body in the galaxy. the crusts are light, in comparison, and if you understand that there is a strong, ambient magnetic field coming from the currrents in the plasma emitted by the galaxy, then you get it when i say "this field rotates every 6000 years and the crusts are prone to realignment with the ambient field because they are light and because of the increased currrent caused by the asymptotic curve of the "wavy" shape of the galactic current sheet.

anyway, i understand why it happens, and i can sit down and dig up dozens of references to back it up but ultimately, what really matters is this:

do you think if the signs are saying the field is rapidly flipping 90 degrees that we should consider where we are living on this planet if it can induce a slip of the crust to a new orientation?

i think, duh.

also, further to understand it, the sun is very close to us

it is emitting masses of plasma, sporadically, all the time, and over this plasma, a lot of electric current travels.

this current charges up our atmosphere and charges dust which causes condensation of water, water does not form droplets without a nucleus, and that is generally a tiny particle of dust covered in electrons.

the seismic activity and volcanic activity under our feet is also fed by this. most of the electrons that stimulate this activity come from the sun, and arc down via the earth's magnetic field into the polar regions, and then propagate across the rest of the planet. these currents cause piezo effects in the largely silicate based rock underneath us, as well as heating up the magma underneath.

when the earth's magnetic field is interfered with, by the galactic current sheet, it becomes weaker, more of that current goes down into the poles, and more of the current goes down through the L shells of the van allen belt and causes crazy weather, increased seismic and volcanic activity, and when the field collapses, the whole system becomes spastic, the enengy from the sun actually hits us, the magma interface of the crust boils and the crust wants to realign with the new orientation of the current sheet.

it takes a lot of words to describe it but in my mind it's pictures. that's why i also don't use "technically correct" words because i'm trying to transmit an image to you.

rigor is everything

i taught myself, based on what i read.

i never trusted mentors from the beginning. everyone has been taught by biased teachers. i taught myself. i rigorously reject anything that doesn't match up with the whole pattern, as i understand it.

if you don't evaluate the complex against first principles, you can be fooled.

that's actually what the non-commie definition of capitalism is.

and you probably didn't know that capitalist was originally a perjorative from the ruling class against those who saved money and developed the concept of factories, which are the foundation of the industrial revolution

we be the niggers. you don't need to invent a new term. you need to learn about the history
