For sure, I'll try and remember to tag you on the notes I post about supplementation and my journey through that rabbit hole.
The brain fog came back with a vengeance when I stopped taking the mood stabilizer I was on for 15 years. It is likely a symptom of the bipolarity that was just suppressed.
Not as much as I should be, admittedly. I spend 60 minutes or so a week weightlifting. 2 days on, 1 rest day, repeat.
I am no chemist, no background in it at all but I try to thoroughly vet anything I put into my body.
I supplement for some pretty specific reasons, I have issues with anxiety and mood swings, brain fog, and low energy levels.
Beyond NAC I also supplement inositol, Maca root, D3, zinc/copper, magnesium, L-theanine, and glycine.
I also take DHEA off and on in small 2-3 day stretches each month because I'm over 40, but I'm wary of messing with hormones so I try to keep it minimal.
I'm going to be introducing piracetam soon to combat brain fog, and will report back when I have results.
NAC. N-acetylcystene - Anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-anxiety properties. I take it everyday, and I feel the difference when I do an off-cycle. It chelates heavy metals so it's a good idea to supplement copper/zinc at the same time (just fyi).
I have a number of different supplements in my stack, but NAC is an all-star.
I'm not an expert, but my rule of thumb is taking into consideration the following:
*What percentage of the UTXO would I find to be an acceptable fee to pay.
*How much change am I wanting to accept back in change when I spend.
So my range is 1-5 million sat UTXOs. I've heard that having a healthy mix is good whatever you decide on.
Looks like rebooting fixed it. It's an older pi, probably just cranky. I'm due for an upgrade, I'll look into it when sats are more expensive 😜
Using raspi w/ MyNode, haven't had any trouble with it in a while.
I'll reboot it and see what it does
It is. Weird. Thanks, glad it's just me 🤣
What's up with the block time being so far from 10 minutes? Did something happen 👀

I'm looking forward to when the market finishes empoverishing the ordinal crowd.
RIP to lightning peeps who just want to perform maintenance 🫠
Me, watching the mempool fees, knowing jpeg grifters and morons are throwing their sats away for nothing.

I've struggled with social anxiety my whole life. I've found that it really isn't possible to resolve, but you can effectively manage it by adopting strategies around your behavior.
For example, I force myself to socialize with friends once a week for at least an hour even if I don't want to. Exercising social muscles will prevent atrophy, which just makes me more inclined to isolate.
I'm sure you will figure out what works best for you. Your self awareness will be an asset. You got this.
If you are concerned about manufacturers, you can mitigate risk by compartmentalizing your stack by generating seeds using different hww, and splitting your stack between them. It's not as good as multisig, but it's not a bad practice.
I'm on board with your crusade. It has always driven me nuts that the calendar months don't just track the lunar cycles. No calendar can be perfectly symmetrical but there are better ways to do it than the Gregorian version.
After rereading my response, I feel like I worded that poorly.
I don't think the government should intervene like this, and I would consider this, even as just a 'statement' to be just another in a long series of encroachments that shouldn't be tolerated.
But that said, some laws/regulations/whatever, while representing overreach and should be fought, might also simultaneously result in some good, and I think this is one of those cases.
I think it's one of those rare situations where it's egregious government overreach into the lives of citizens, but would also actually do more good than harm.
The analogy about stopped clocks comes to mind.
Points for 'chicanery'
Criminally underused word.
