nah, we are many cypherpunks in bitcoin. the group think is so strong that people would rather hang out with their own than engage in anything that's new. it took years for zk stuff to finally arrive in Bitcoin because people were so triggered by it.

All I disabled was opening the DM chat screen when tapping a peer in the peer list (commented out iirc).

yes, pow isn't practical for spam prevention in the age of personal computing. the only useful way is to tokenize the pow in sats and make people pay.
spam is unsolvable
