There would be a proliferation of meatball sub style sandwiches, including pineapple+ham+cheese+tomato sauce sandwiches.

Kind of like marsupials in Australia: the existing solution evolves to fill the niche.

My understanding is that big blocks increase the hardware requirements to run a full node. As the Blockchain grows larger, you would need hundreds of terabytes of storage capacity to hold the entire Blockchain. It would get so large that only large orgs or very rich people could afford to run a node.

Fees already back down to this level?

What did 12 ever do to you?

Or is this a new way of testing the mic? Check one two... Fuck one two...

For a lightning node I would say anything that has an Intel core i3 or i5 or i7 of any generation would work. Maybe even a Celeron would work. Or any AMD processor from the last 10 ish years.

Whatever you do, you will need a beefy hard drive. Ideally 2tb.

I second this. On Craigslist or OfferUp you can get a cheap mini PC or an old laptop and put start9 on it. No desserts necessary.

I can't tell if it has the juice

I think it's worth learning about, and if you have other Bitcoiners that you know in real life who are willing to try it out, then you should use it.

There are plenty of heat podcasts and YouTube videos with Adam Back or Wiz that describe it.

People listen to influencooors, and influencooors are not talking about liquid.

If we use it then someone would be using it. So let's use.

The best Beatles album was Band of Gypsies
