I resisted writing a book for years since it’s such a tedious process, until finally a book formed in my head that I felt needed to exist, and that was too distracting for me *not* to write. And then I poured everything I had into it.

First time here in Vancouver. I am pleasantly surprised to see so many traditional families with multiple small children (2 or more). And everyone seems to have a dog 😊. People here are extremely friendly, but they don't know shit about #bitcoin. 2 out of 3 ain't bad I guess! go BC.

Juggling. Question of timing and no idea where you are but could always plant a couple of butter nuts or pumpkins. Let em roam around. Just chuck em in the ground. I used to do that in Spain on small plot. Outside of my raised beds and then just trained them a little, moving them out of the way cause they grow like stink. Whatever actually fruited got harvested and left in the sun to dry for a week or two and then stored for winter

Beet day. 12lb on a 4x4 bed. Not stellar, but not bad. I just have to vacuum seal these tomorrow and they are done. Got a nice feed of baby beets for tonight. And of course the inevitable health scare in the middle of the night tonight when it looks like I’m pissing blood, and forgot I ate a quarter pound of beets lol.

Is the work worth it while the grocery stores are still open? No. Will it be worth it when I can pull them out of the freezer in the middle of winter or in a pinch? Yes.

Carrots, squash, and then pressure canning a hundred pounds of potatoes still to go. Cellaring the other 200lb or so. And trying to get some hunting days in. And a bunch of 50 hour work weeks. Fall is a busy time.

I love beets, especially pickled!

I definitely know my priorities have shifted when I know where there's a bit of a party going on. There would be a fellow bitcoiner there who I don't know very well, but is an interesting guy. So it wouldn't be a total waste going out, but a huge, part of my brain is telling me to stay home, try to maybe like write a page or so, and then fall asleep.

Younger me would have rushed home, slammed a few beers, rinsed off, put on some civvies, and gone out Without a second thought. Currently I'm on the fence with a heavy inclination to just stay home.😅
