Then why are they cheering on attacks by the feds against other projects ๐ค
Watching Bitcoiners cheer on federal takedowns of other cryptocurrency projects (justified or not) is... An interesting irony.
If they're coming for others they're going to come for Bitcoin. The law won't save you, we have to build and learn the tools.
Excited to see more of what you're working on!
That's exactly what Fedimints can be, and one of the key goals of them.
Still custodial so I'm not sure where I land but a better in-between.
Possible my client hadn't updated trying again
Zapped, no need to send any back ๐

Underrated feature of Nostr is no short character limit, makes conversations much more nuanced and detailed! Loving the change.
I do talk about these solutions all the time, and in this very thread linked out to entirely self-sovereign solutions.
Will add to it for these easier onboarding tools.
Asked my two year old how he would onboard people to #Bitcoin in a self-sovereign, non-custodial, and privacy-preserving way and...
He called me a nut ๐ Seems I have some parental work yet to do.

No one's even talking about Monero here ๐
Why do we need to be able to receive zaps this instant?
Just wait, and can use federated LN address tools like satdress to receive tips in the meantime.
๐ All on the same team here, thankful for what you're doing as well!
True, forgot about the hosted channels!
Why not onboard to Phoenix, Blixt, Breez, or SBW instead of custodial solutions?
Feels a bit like lying to show them "it just works" when the reality is more complex and requires a bit of personal responsibility. Almost feels like we set people up for disillusionment if we pitch custodial as "Lightning".
If that's possible then let's get it added to the NIP!
Would also prefer that if it's still usable from a UX perspective.
Why even use custodial wallets if you know better and know that non-custodial options exist and are quite usable?
If you need an easy to use wallet for onboarding, use Phoenix or Blixt.
Then you can help transition them to running their own node for Zaps etc.
