It's tied closely to your OS. Honestly the easiest solution is to run a virtual machine with a later version of Linux. Another solution would be to upgrade your OS. The last solution I'd recommend is to fiddle with multiple different version of libc6 on the same machine.

I guess they have to make it look like they're doing something by closing random accounts in the name of "fighting crime" since TD was fined $4 billion literally for facilitating crime?

So users want dirty scrappy fast things, got it

Most likely this. They're most likely going to create their own private network of nodes and it'll most likely touch the public graph very little, if any at all. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, but not necessarily a good thing either. Probably more a testament to how useful the LN can be.

#lightning #asknostr I see my one and only channel megalith is down this morning. Was going to open an extra channel this morning while the mempool is so empty. Can anybody recommend one of the others that nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm offers? Price difference is huge between lnserver and the others.... like 45000 sats for the others and 7000 for lnserver. Anybody got anything bad to say about them before I do this? Thanks!

I'd say something like this:

1. Lnserver (cheaper fees) or Olympus (fairly high fees)

2. LQwD (fairly low fees)

3. Flashsats (mid-range fees)

just based on liquidity flexibility, in other words, their ability to respond to demands on their liquidity. For the most part, small transactions like zaps are likely to go through without trouble on any of these lsps.

My follows list has cobwebs all over it. Need to refresh the lit of based #nostriches

Incidental to the main subject of this article:

"In the midst of this competitive landscape, the emergence of Meta's Threads adds an intriguing dimension to the decentralized social media arena. Threads, a new app integrated within Meta's Instagram network, aims to introduce conversational elements reminiscent of Twitter".

The word 'decentralised' has lost all meaning these days.

Hmm I haven't seen that yet, unless I'm auto-ignoring like a psychopath?

A lot of filters to choose from, feels a bit clunky because it needs lots of back-and-forth between filters to grok the latest. Great nonetheless just to be able to filter.

Realling digging the tribe/network feeds on primal. Finally something that gives me visibility beyond the two extremes of just follows and global feed chaos.
