If you take a group private is the expectation that notes from when it was public should become private? I assume discussions that happened in public can stay public, but there needs to be a strong signal to participants that things be encrypted going forward.
Its possible it did some channel splicing under the hood. UI should definitely explain better what's going on.
I like both. But I tend to try lots of different tools.
Welcome. Be sure to ask any questions you have, people here are friendly and happy to help.
I thought about building this, was waiting for the DM dust to settle. Sending tons of DMs with standard NIP-04 had lots of problems. Would be a useful client, or feature to existing client.
I definitely agree, he does such a good job with his podcast. I think it is important to listen to others to get a good balance, but he is great.
People might block, but no shadowbanning. I'm just suggesting that there might not be a large audience as there might be elsewhere.
It was just a heads up, say what you will. I'm only commenting on the nature of things as they are.
Welcome. It looks like you might have some ordinals experience, I hope the ordinal disrespectors don't give you too hard a time 🤣
Just a fair warning:
Nostr may have the audience you're seeking, but this place is generally not as filled with those looking for conspiracies as other networks.
This doesn't effect the retail investor other than it might be less efficient so the price may deviate from BTC sometimes. This mostly impacts the authorized participants who can create or redeem shares.
Merry Christmas to all you nostriches!

Testing local relay.
How are you diving in? I'm in deep on D&D but haven't consumed all that much relatively.
Is there a BRC-20 version of Uniswap? Not asking because I want any BRC-20s but I think AMMs are a major innovation from the #ETH space and wondering if on-chain liquidity provision is being thought about in bitcoin. Maybe taproot assets is a better place to look?
I tend to agree. I think democratic pushes result in poor DAO experiences. I think the ability to form partnerships of n individuals enforced by a smart contracts has some yet seen benefits that are worth exploring. I belive the goal should be directing efforts in a way that isn't democratic but optimizes for actual coordination among the parties involved.
I love lightning, and stuff like taproot assets can beat a bunch of the usefulness of some ETH projects. There are long tail things that are building that will survive for quite some time I think. I'm particularly in the DAO space which I don't see very much discussed in the context of bitcoin.
