I keep coming back to the idea of a nostr dating app. On the one hand you want your WoT to inform your matches, on the other a separate npub would be nice for more privacy. It would be nice to use location to show people nearby, but that seems like a privacy mess.
I don't know if it'll happen, but hopefully someone is working on it.
I think alot of the functionality we want in relays is better off as separate services. This isn't to say relays can't do anything clever, but the more we rely on relays to provide these services, the more centralization risk exists.
Candy Crawley was before MAGA was a thing. settle down.
I'm not sure whether this is good of bad, but I think it is a bit sad.
The moderators of this debate are going to ruin presidential debates forever. Republicans were on watch after Candy Crawley, but after this there will never be a format that both parties will agree to.
Whether you exercise that authority is up to you. At least here (in the US) that's the general arrangement.
I think it is more about aesthetics. Women have broad authority over decoration and setup of the whole house, the man cave is the one room that allows the man's aesthetic preferences to be expressed.
nice, I want to set this up too β This is a comment on: https://yakihonne.com/flash-news/nevent1qqzwnl3k0ypzqxjguax77thwk9a4nuld8xycmx28hyu0jpmu0ju0dsgyt5pvpcq0qvzqqqqqqyg3e9xe
Can DVMs take user input? I've mostly seen summaries for an npub that are just based on that context window. any examples I can play with?
Yeah, DVM where you give it whats in your fridge and it finds a recipe within the new recipe kind.
I came across https://cooklang.org a while back. Not sure if markup formats make sense within nostr, but maybe some lessons can be learned.
I have limited experience, but anyone I've worked with or tried working with wanted to discredit the metrics as a method of devaluing the work.
I think the fact that I've never worked with a good marketer is part of the problem. It is like working with a bad dev can make you question good any code actually works.
I don't find it pointless, I have a hard time trusting the process. It seems there is no showing the work and you have to accept failure as a success that hasn't been acknowledged yet.
that looks like the right set of operations to me. I haven't contributed myself, but that matches what most open source projects ask for. if you run into any problems let me know and I can take a run at it.
Listened to this podcast a bit back and it sounded promising. Just as another point for lesser known approaches. https://www.thefp.com/p/can-you-drink-your-way-to-sobriety-0f2
I just learned about getwired.app which is pretty cool. If I do enough PoW with another client will it show up on that site?
