I've really tried to like Primal, and have used it many times in an effort to like it, but no matter what I do, or how long I use it for, I always go back to Amethyst. Even after their recent, big update. It just doesn't like home to me. It doesn't feel like it was made for me. π€·ββοΈ
Nether was I. I was referring to hardware cost plus application and registration fees associated with the acquisition process. The hardware cost on its own is pretty negligible. It's jumping through the legal hoops and successfully going through the legal process that's expensive.
Regarding the sear, it's VERY spendy. Like $30k+. The suppressor is probably less, but putting this gun together legally in the US would probably cost you somewhere in the $100k range.
I think the Fleming and the Dyer are the only two sear packages that are recommended or approved by HK. Precision engineering is so important on that part, as any imperfection can cause malfunction. And slipping into full-auto without your intentional action is a potentially dangerous malfunction.
Generally, but there is a potential legal path. However, you have to jump through a lot of fiery hoops. And a legal, registered auto-sear would cost like $30k. I'm not sure if Sergio is in America. Overseas in less restrictive countries the price would be substantially less. The fact that he's got a full-auto sear package as well as a suppressor leads me to believe he's probably not I'm the United States. And if he is, this gun probably wouldn't be legal.
Not if the switch to full-auto wasn't intentional. Maybe an issue with the sear? Is it a Fleming or Dyer auto-sear? Or a knock-off?
My dog, Misha, will greet him on the Rainbow Bridge. β₯οΈ
The president doesn't write laws. You're thinking of Congress. Just saying...
I've tried Coinos.io, Minibits, Cashu.me, and LifPay, all with the same results. It just doesn't seem to be parsing the connect string properly. I'm aware of how much work you guys have been doing and the redesign looks great. I'm certainly patient, and can wait for a fix. I was basically just checking in because as I said, I raised the issue a month ago and was told they were aware of the problem, that Alby NWC is the only thing that was working, and that they'd be addressing the problem soon. I'll keep trying, and keeping my eye on the release notes.
Take any standard NWC connect string from any standard NWC wallet, select the middle option for NWC wallet, paste connect string, and it returns, "Invalid pairing scret".
I've tried this with 3 different wallets, and I can confirm that I am able to successfully use the connect strings with other clients like Amethyst, Prime, and even Nostrudel. The problem only manifests with YakiHonne.
I raised this issue about a month ago, and the person I was taking to (a girl whose name I can't recall) said they were aware, that the Alby NWC was the only one that worked for now aside from the integrated YakiHonne NWC, and that they'd be addressing the problem soon.

And it doesn't work. Trying to connect a standard NWC wallet fails every time. This is a known issue that they're aware of. I'm just wondering when they're going to address it.
Oh OK... I never really got into it but I sorta remembered a Twitter connection.
On closer inspection, it's not actually doing auth π€¦ββοΈ
Frens fails in the same way as auth. Sounds like nostr:npub1drvpzev3syqt0kjrls50050uzf25gehpz9vgdw08hvex7e0vgfeq0eseet's workaround is what I need to do.
I'm glad you've got a breadcrumb to follow. I hope it yields results for you!
I'm not familiar with that relay? Is it a locked-down, dedicated DM Inbox relay?
Have you tried with frens.utxo.one? That's a similarly configured, dedicated DM relay. That, or inbox.nostr.wine if you are a subscriber? Testing on non-auth relays isn't really comparing apples to apples.
Are you only having this issue with auth.nostr1.com? Or is it all similar DM relays?

Any idea when you're going to address the NWC function? As it is, YakiHonne doesn't support standard NWC connect strings; only Alby. It's one of the few issues that's holding me back from using YakiHonne outside of testing and occasional perusal.
Olas would be a perfect framework to base a Vine clone on. It would just be a matter of subbing out the existing image posting mechanism for a video mechanism that allowed users to record a limited length video, and automatically post it for inclusion in the feed.
Auth only applies to read requests, so that's where I'd focus my attention; on your process for authing using the npub the message was written to.
