if no one signs up, i'd love to be in again!
here is a [real] short kittenmas story for you:
once upon a time i was out driving at night
it was a very dark winter night and yet somehow i didn't see a car covered in decorative lights until it passed me
immediately after i saw that beautiful car, it started snowing! βοΈ

it would be a sad reflection about humanity

merry kittenmas to you!
i think in general people want up to date software, with a wide selection (without needing to do weird PPA stuff)
also, imo most "general users" don't care about underlying systems, to them in doesn't matter whether things are installed through apt, flatpak, pacman, xbps, etc
just that it's installed
my artix laptop has been stable for over half a decade now, i think the stuff about arch being bleeding edge is a little much
still want a steam deck personally, but i'm a linux gamer too
preconfigured arch [artix] is great, i used an installer and it was no harder than say mint or ubuntu
for example, things as a treat (@treats@fox.nexus)
i agree in general, but i feel like streaming vs physical media is a bad comparison due to cost
i wish it was preserved losslessly, but it was already 300TB lossy so i can't blame them
