I can see parallels between Jesus and Bitcoin.
Debt is a metaphor to describe sin. Atonment and redemption in the bible are described as God freeing us from a debt we can't pay and from chains we can't break.
People experience Bitcoin as a religious experience because they are literally experiencing the metaphor the bible uses to describe salvation from sin and death.
I wouldn't go as far to say Bitcoin is Jesus. Sin and death will still exist post hyperbitconisation. Perhaps through Bitcoin God is graciously restraining evil
