Oh yay! It "only" took 45 minutes to fail π
I love bitcoin and how fast it usually is, but having my money taken hostage in a random queue I can't interact with is no fun π
Here's a tip:
Don't swap wifi networks while you're waiting for a WoS transfer to go through, as it can get stuck as "queued".
The waiting to see if it goes through or gets canceled is painful, and may take 24h π
I've come across some clients that don't seem to support DMs, so you might need to try a different one if you can't find it on the one you're using. π€
I sent you a message, you already zapped me, right?
Whoever it was who wants to buy our new book, please comment on this post. I can't figure out how to find you. π¬
Her degrees seem like they might fit for men who hang out on Nostr. As well as the fantasy books.
However, what I've seen from single men on Nostr, they seem to not really want to be the ones to orange pill their potential wives, and may not even entertain the idea of asking them to be their girlfriend if they're not already open to Bitcoin, so that might be the bigger hurdle π€
I like your idea of promoting that they're gonna keep getting richer each year, and the 100 pushup challenge they seem to still be doing, as she seems to want an active guy. (Unless dancing is the only activity she cares about)
I do cover 3 types of marriages in the book, and figuring out which kind would work best for each person. My husband and I are the kind that does everything together. I never had a BFF that I did everything with before him, but rather walked own path, so now I'm curious what your cousin might actually prefer, if she could have it all her way. Would she keep traveling alone, or would she prefer someone who goes with her π€π
I realized I wanted a guy who talked, after dating an internal thinker who didn't share much. I got it!!! I also realized I needed someone who wanted to do video calls and not just texting, and my now husband initiated video calls all on his own, which was awesome and beyond that I had dared ask for.
If you get the book, I'd love to hear what you think of it! π
I just read what I wrote and see I only said negative, but what I meant was nasty as they weren't complaining about the lightning node, but rather the people who try to work the node.
I don't mind at all people being negative towards things, but when they say things about the people, it sounds more like what gets promoted on X, and the reason I hang out on Nostr, cause Nostr is kinder π
No, I haven't. But it's okay to say that something is awful without calling people names who are trying to make it work...
I was referring more to the seeming attitude that sounded more like what I've seem on X than what I usually see on Nostr. Even if someone complains here, they usually don't sound nasty, which is what I like about Nostr π
Only 7 more weeks until we get to see our little one π₯³π₯°π₯³π₯°π₯³

After spending most of the day creating and tweaking the physical book covers so we could finish publishing our new book "How to prepare yourself for marriage" on Amazon, I realized past 4pm that I have yet to eat anything all day π I made a cheese quesadilla, and now we're out to celebrate by having Panda Express π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³
The few people who leaves a casino with money are those who work there. Smart move! π
After struggling to come up with a good blurb to put on the back of our book, I tried something new, and I really like it!
The paperback and hardback are now in review and will be available through Amazon shortly! πππ
The book is written together with my amazing husband nostr:npub1njrdwafh5cuqecm3uwjgvz78u8aj4kajsgdlr283e48gecpzgrysmg2mct
*Also available as a PDF for 10 000 sats through DM's. β‘

Levi M. Johnson only needed 68 days from the first date to the wedding day once he came across Ann-Sofi. As he implemented all the tools and habits he had spent years gathering, like keeping no secrets, and sharing what he knew about himself and what he wanted out of life, choosing not to hold back, but give Ann-Sofi every opportunity to reject him if what he shared wasn't the kind of life she was interested in joining. She knew what she was getting into and excitedly chose to join his adventure! Because of his leadership, she decided to also be fully vulnerable during their dating season, which led them to run out of reasons not to get married quickly. To others, it seemed fast, but the reality is that they were more prepared than most people are, who have been dating for years.
Having watched so many people struggle as they dream of a good marriage, the desire to write this book overtook Ann-Sofi in 2025. She enlisted her husband, and in seven short months, "How to Prepare Yourself for Marriage" was completed.
In this book, you will learn the tools and habits that made their amazing marriage possible. By doing the exercises and exploring the references they cover, you will prepare yourself for a lifelong, happy covenant marriage to the spouse of your dreams.

Oh, right, there was that thing called sleep that I was meaning to do... π¬π π€£π€£π€£
It's easier to cheat if they don't know who votes, and it's easier to imprison people if they have their ID for social media. What you say "in public" is far more dangerous to them than what you vote in secret. π¬
I prefer it the opposite way!
It's a government ID, so use it for government business, like voting for government.
Social media isn't owned by the government, so back off!!
Part of why I like Nostr!
Just came across someone's negative take on running a lightning node after someone else had asked for advice on how to get his working...
My first thought was, "eh, did you just come off of twitter?" π
I know everyone can post whatever they want here, but I'm not used to seeing that kind of language on Nostr, except for fun.
Watching Star Trek and one of them went to an alternate universe where she's stuck on earth with a different captain.
They just ran into someone who was into aliens.
I don't believe in aliens, but it's an interesting thought to think of it from the perspective of someone who is used to working with aliens on a daily basis, to meet someone who is considered weird for believing what is normal to the main character π€
When I was younger and took tests the P and J would swap, based on what I was going through at the time, but I'm definitely a P!
The J tends to work more on "Should's" and black and white, and the P is really good at being open and seeing a bunch of different options.
My husband is amazing at deciphering people, and I love watching him do it. We'll talk to a cashier or barista or someone we meet when we're out and about, and he'll ask a few casual questions about them, and then he'll start telling them about themselves, how they function, and sometimes why things might seem confusing to them because of how others act.
I love watching their faces as they feel known and seen and understand more than they even realized about themselves! It's so fun!
I think a majority of NTs can be found on Nostr, cause it's a lot easier for them to understand the abstractness of bitcoin.
Cool, thanks for sharing.
Sounds like your mastery might be more programming, than the actual specific project, maybe?
Yes, at least in America, most people are sensors.
I'm from Sweden, and it seems there might be a higher density of Intuitive, maybe even NT, people there, as the country is basically run more on what works and technical language, than the American sensing and cooperation.
I love your version of Noshole!!! π€£π€£π€£
Ah right. My husband is amazingly good at guitar (according to the level of guitar players I've met) and I think it might have been NTs and not just his personality type, who enjoys a mix of creativity and intellectual work π€
There's a book called, "Please understand me II", and it calls the SP types artisans, but they have a weakness of being a bit flakey, but they also tend to be masters of their chosen artistry.
Yes, the NT part is the core. It's part of what makes someone an engineer, even if they didn't get the degree or job title. They really like efficiency and what works! π
It's not like I'm biased or anything, but my personality type is the best! π ENFP
Closely followed by my husband's personality type, the ENTP.
Obviously I'm correct since my husband looked into all of the personality types, and decided he wanted one of my type as a wife, and clearly he was picking the winner, so 'nuff said ππ€£π€£π€£
Here's the Amazon link in case you'd like to check it out more.
Hah, yes,
"If you feel icky after scrolling through X, and want a healthier and more positive social media experience, consider joining Nostr, the decentralized social media network where you are your own algorithm."
And then add something about, "you'll never wanna go back to your Ex X" π€£
I think that might be the only thing I have going for myself π humans have a tendency to have an aversion to change....
So, there is one pad on each side of the disk, and one of them literally fell out. I'm guessing it got so worn that the clamps didn't hold it anymore, and one of the pads came lose from the clamps and fell out. Like flew away type of fell out.
Does that make more sense?
You're also missing "Benefits of Bitcoin". π
Hubby went into town alone today as I stayed home working on our audiobook.
I tried to do the wifely thing by having food ready when he got home, except he was already halfway home when he said he was coming home, so i saw the headlights before I'd even started π π€£
Maybe next time π€π€£
"Never sell your bitcoin" except when it's all you have and others don't want it yet.
Got a voicemail from "Amazon" today.
I haven't bought anything on Amazon for years, and they do not have my number.
I'm glad I'm smart enough to not get conned by this obvious scam. π

Well, since every person is different and what different things out of life, they'd also be looking for their marriage material in different places.
Once we know who we are and what we want, it's a lot easier to figure out where our kind of personight be hanging out.
So, not really, although I believe my husband gave some tips from his dating season, though they may not be relevant anymore.
It will set the reader up for knowing what to look for in order to get what they actually want, and how to spot the people who are more likely to be a great fit for them.
It does include how to ask someone out in a way that will be more likely to succeed.
What, people go back to X?! π¬
No thanks, I'll be staying here on Nostr! I like it so much better in so many different ways!
Wow, our book, "How to prepare yourself for marriage" is so close to being done!! π₯³
I'm working on the pages that go before and after the main content of the book right now!
Just a few more days until it's ready to publish in all formats on Amazon π€―π€π₯³ it will also be available as ebook here through Nostr π€ I'm so excited!!!
Growing up, the idea of hybernating over winter to avoid the 6 months of snow sounded great.
Now, living in +- 100f weather, the idea of hybernating over summer until it gets cooler again is way more appealing! π€£
I woke up to hubby listening to Tim Pool discussing what "Rights" are, and the guest can't understand Tim's point of view.
Then my husband points out that the gues is a Sensor, and Tim is Intuitive. Now it totally makes sense!
Sensors think about and are in a way limited to the 5 senses, the physical.
Intuitive people can and often do think philosophically, and the spiritual.
Peter Schiff is also a sensor. A lot of people who are into bitcoin and get it are Intuitive.
This might explain to some of you why when you try to explain bitcoin to your friends and family, they have a really hard time getting it. Especially those who say something along the lines of, "but it's not real".
This doesn't mean that all sensors are stupid. It only means that for them to get it, it probably needs to be explained using the 5 senses, rather than by using abstract language.
If you get paid in fiat, you need to renegotiate for a raise to keep up with inflation.
If you get paid in bitcoin, you can keep the same number of sats and you'll naturally get raises because the value goes up π
Last night someone found this post I made a while ago.
I got a new comment on it today, and I agree.
There will basically be 3 kinds of people during this transition period as AI takes over another section of jobs.
The complainers, the dependents, and the creators.
I believe a lot of us who have already joined Bitcoin will be in the 3rd category. We're the ones who will shape the future and where the world will go.
We already have hope, we already innovate, we already know how to find meaning beyond a 9 to 5.
Oh okay, π π€£ yes, we're keeping the list on Nostr so it can stay alive π
Not true for me...
I was pretty isolated before covid and left home to be with friends.
Covid restrictions caused some locals to get together in their home instead of relying on church for their social life, and I wouldn't have known them if they didn't do this. I actually ended up being more in person social during restrictions π€£
I was able to join a wedding I wouldn't have joined otherwise.
I also joined a baby shower across the globe, on the same level as everyone else. They're having their 2nd child now but due to their ability to be in person, I was unable to attend this baby shower. π
I met my husband and married him, and through I've had moments of missing my joy through the years, I've learned how to get it back way more explicitly π
I currently feel happy, accomplished, and excited.
I became a published author after marrying my husband so now I have something productive to do even if I can't go anywhere.
I feel a little sad that you seem to have had a very different experience since covid. Bless you!!!!!!
My dreams last night kept mixing in Koreans... I mean like, supposed relatives of mine were showing up as Koreans π€£π€£π€£
Did I watch too much of a Korean show last night? π€ nah, probably not. In my last dream all my relatives where back to their very white selves, so it didn't even influence my entire nights sleep!
Bring on more Korean shows!!! ππ₯³π€π€£
