Maybe? But no, not really. I don’t see the need for AR wearables inside my home where I have many screens / furniture tech.

AR outdoors has more utility (true of wearables in general), but that’s not this product is it.

I think Google Glass was closer than this.

Yeah, right until MSFT/GOOG put you on their spam lists.

The reason the price of Apple Vision PRO is so expensive is because Apple haven’t committed to it.

If they had committed to producing 50 million units then the price would be $995.

This is what Steve Jobs meant when he said he β€œbet the company” on a new product.

Free Dad advice…

Before you start with weights, first of all improve your grip. Get one of those handheld grip trainer things off Amazon that go to +60kg.

Once you can do 25 squeezes, turn the spring 1/2 turn to increase the resistance.

Don’t touch free weights until your grip is >>50kg. This will pay massive benefits in terms of form and stability and probably reduces injury risk 20 fold.

Lots of people who regularly use the gym (even after years) still have weak grip, and this hurts their control and impairs all their training.

Public spaces in US cities just blow my mind. It often looks so temporary and disposable to my eye.

But then European outdoors has been tamed over 2,000 years and lots of towns and villages look like they are part of the natural habitat.

There are pubs and shops where I grew up that are 900 years old. That was sort of normal, but I think it gives you a radically different context on your place in the world v’s growing up somewhere where every building is 30 years old and designed to last 60 years.

Not saying one is better or worse, but certainly different context of your place here.

If only India had fixed education, before their population bubble hit adulthood (like China did in the early 1990’s).

Probably the biggest missed opportunity of the last 100 years.

Would you say Discord is probably the closest thing to that?

Plenty of gamers playing rt first person shooters and talking via discord. Seems that should transfer to live events?

I actually think there is a big market for live content (sport, music, theatre) that you can watch/consume with a group of friends remotely.

This doesn’t really exist currently. I think it’s 90% figuring out the UI/UX.

How often does something bigger than 30 meters pass within 250,000 km of Earth?

How many times per century?

The FA cup final is currently underway, but how do I chat about #FAcup with people on nostr?

Where is the FA cup content found?

How could content discovery be more intuitive?

From humble beginnings…

Nobody gets a new product for the onboarding process, but plenty of people ditch an easily acquired product halfway through the onboarding. Every extra step filters some people out. Always offer β€œskip” where possible.

1). What percentage of people who start the onboarding come back to log in the following day? Anything below 50-60% is probably fatal.

Yeah a NIP that standardises a JSON file that each relay hosts that includes some status data and can be polled by the client would be useful for network optimisation.

I don’t know if this is what whispr was trying to do a while ago?
