I thought I was so smart 'cause I could "spend bitcoin" with my Coinbase Shift Card. 😥

my buddy here nostr:npub1rutfszlp88wkga4590tfecuhuury8fcn3zczkgryy6fmjm5ghe2sapee7z is into cooking AI recipes and it looks like he has some nice results - see photos above

They look great. What are you using MattBTC?

I scrape a lot of recipes from the web using mealie on Umbrel. It's machine learning, but I wonder if there's a way to integrate something like Llama.

Great show, everyone. Thanks for all the lulz!

nostr:npub1t7r32cvuy3s20dy2vsx626cact3mfqv94lvaeuxfg55an2kf6efqlksr49 knows how to bring it. A total of 460K sats were zapped. That’s $280. If the comedians HODL, this could be the best-paying gig they’ve ever had. ⚡️

I wanted to watch that, but I was busy. Anyway to watch the recording?

Bitcoin is more transparent than gold. Paper bitcoin is more difficult to create. They might get away with it for a little while, but some nerd at glassnode will figure that shit out.

Online poker had no regulation, the Wild West of the Internet.

Someone noticed a player at Absolute Poker won more hands than statistically possible. It turns out, a former WSOP main Event Champion, Russ Hamilton could see everyone's hole cards.

I think we can catch cheaters like the poker nerds.

Needs to be updated a bit because we now have a standalone option but this should get you started

Thank you.

Can Square terminals accept bitcoin yet?

I checked it out at the library, but it's great. That dude is into Austrian Economics too. I don't understand why he didn't get into bitcoin yet.

I use the get alby extention to login in. It's not working on kiwi for some reason.

At least Fidelity doesn't use this dumb ass corporation for their custody.

I just boosted the show to tell him about flare.pub

I always feel like a loser when people ask me about my job.

I've never made more than $49,000 in a single year and I've made like half of that for most of my career.

I wish I made more, of course, but ironically, I think it propelled me to exit fiat as much as possible.

For whatever reason, I can't seem to win the fiat game, so I play a different game.

I suspect if I made 3x my fiat wages, I would feel like a winner. I would drive a fancy car, wear fancy clothes, sit on fancy chairs and pay for fancy haircuts, but I don't think I would be as wealthy.

I swear I'm not bragging and I still work my shitty job, but that means I still sometimes work with people I tried to orange pill when bitcoin was $500.

That's why I don't like talking about the price much. The Double Spending problem is a tool to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Satoshi did not create bitcoin to capture more fiat. He solved the double spending problem. My thesis is bitcoin adoption will grow as more and more people become aware of the double spending problem.

The rich will still get richer, but the poor will also get richer. That's what Satoshi gave to the world.

I know how to lead a horse to water, I just don't know how to make the horse drink the water.

People are nicer on nostr.
