Some good ideas, but AFAIK just a single guy working on it and last Ichecked the integrated chat was a small community of a couple dozen ppl. I ran a node, but after a while it lost sync for some reason and could not recover. Bootstrapped the chain, started it again and it failed again after a month or so - and that's after giving it some 10GB ram (i think) which it apparently needs.
The social order is irrelevant, people's desire for freedom is what matters.
If people are stupid, capitalism will take them to exactly where we are, eventually. The rich get richer until they want to enslave everyone.
If ppl are smart and meaningfully demand decentralisation and equal opportunity, we'll be fine regardless of the 'ism'
the guys arrogantly (or stupidly) tried to lift with their backs rather than the legs ;-p
Nah, for this to happen they would need to refuse to compete en masse, and that is rather hard to achieve.
It will happen eventually but some girl will need to get beaten to death first I guess.
I can't laugh at that, it is cruel, unjust, despicable... I struggle for words
A closed source system is centralised, open source is decentralised. Decentralised will always be harder to corrupt.
Linux is at a level of maturity where it can easily be a safe replacement for windows.
More ppl should use it. I stopped dual-booting many years ago... when I stooped playing Warcraft ;)
keybase is awesome, but not sure how long for, after they got bought. end-to-end encrypted, with file storage and git repos integrated
"We shouldn’t count on hearing the truth about the attempted assassination from the mainstream media. No wonder the elites remain determined to censor social media sites like Twitter/X and TikTok. We live in an empire of lies, propped up by the mainstream media. And seeking the truth in this empire of lies is the greatest challenge for us in the moral bankruptcy in which we live."

RT had an article today which asked some valid questions.
Apparently the special forces snipers shot the shooter within 3 seconds of him firing at Trump, which means they already had him in their crosshairs.

You'll need a VPN to read it, mullvad works.
Sounds like Gilmour, and that's the best compliment I can give a guitarist. Thanks for sharing.
His taking over of twitter had some positive effects, yes. Our disagreement is about his motivation.

On Musk at 1:03:15
"He was a WEF Young Global Leader who had the sense to be pushing all of the right agenda points about sustainable development"
Musk said it himself that he wants to develop the US version of WeChat (the surveillance app which everything is done through in China) and that's where X is headed.
Better still, stop using iOS or Windows, or stock Android :p)
This video is from 8 years ago, yet somehow I've never heard about it.
Its's an internal google presentation, outlining how collected user data can be used not only to predict, but also to modify behaviour.

What cashless also means is that foreigners in your country can't buy anything until they have a bank account.
Last year I used my card to pay for a fresh foreign student's lunch, which he then gave me in cash, because all venues on campus were cashless.

I wish that not voting would automatically take me out of the system. It does not.
I am not saying any presidential candidate will help us build a BTC economy, only that some will obstruct it less.
