If women want this to stop they can do so overnight. Refuse to compete. It will end. But they like the attention, they get to play victim, and with all the attention on women's sports because of this, safe to assume more money is flowing in. I've been a full time user for about 15 years. I can't say it was always as easy as it is now 😊. It's easier than ever.

No system is safe. However, I think there's something special about being able to see the code and fix it yourself if you're so inclined. Everyone tends to benefit from such a system. Crossing your fingers and hoping it works out (Windows) is inherently less secure in my opinion.

I think we should have more diversity with critical infrastructure. Losing multiple things at once is really what causes the choas. It's a compounding problem.

My guess is that a lot of people died/sustained injury as a result of the recent Windows issues. We may never know the full impact since it isn't something that is tracked (to my knowledge).

People are so concerned about relatively much smaller issues. I just don't get the feeling in real life that people actually understand just how close we are to going back to the dark ages at any second. I literally watched it happen in a matter of minutes.

We need to address this.

I've been preparing for years (digitally and physically). I've been reaching out to friends and family to do my small part to make people more resilient. Currently, most people are minutes away from being totally controlled by anyone willing to establish any form of control during chaos. That is terrifying. We need more independent people in a world that has incentivized dependence.
