Part of the class was setting up a covert operation to buy a package of toilet paper at the local dollar general. We set up a net operator, perimeter, lead car, chase, car, relay points, etc.. I have to admit it was pretty cool.

I agree. I took the Radio Made Easy course at Self Reliance Festival a couple weeks ago and the instructor made a clear distinction between the “ability” to operate a radio and being “allowed to” operate a radio.

Thanks J! I’ve been thinking about it for a few years. It was actually harder to find operators willing to mentor me when I lived in the big city. Once I moved to a rural community I found a distinctly higher proportion of people are into ham radio. Do you have a call sign?

I just passed my Ham Radio Technicians exam!

My first meme on Nostr. Anyone know the correct image size off the top of their head?

The Bud Light scandal is one of the best Psy-ops ever engineered. AB-InBev owns Bud Light and about 500 other brands of beer. They tanked the brand on purpose. Think of it this way, Bud Light sells for $6.99 a six pack. They got people to boycott Bud Light and start buying other beers. What beer did they start buying? Modelo is now the number one selling beer in America! Modelo, is also owned by AB-InBev. The average cost of a six pack of Modelo is $10.99. The first picture shows the AB-InBev has the profit expectations four quarters in a row.

But wait… It gets better! Some people are speculating that none other than Bill Gates and other elites crashed the stock on purpose so they could buy up enough shares to control the company. Somebody doesn’t need to own 50% of the stock in a company to control it. All someone has to do is be one of the largest major shareholders and they can influence corporate actions. Bill Gates bought $95 million worth of InBev stock at its lowest point see the red circle in the second picture. That’s when Bill Gates bought.

You shouldn’t be boycotting Bud Light you should be buying InBev stock even if it’s only one or two shares a week. That shits gonna moon!

I get it. And that was a pretty aggressive post by someone who might have an agenda. I’ll tell you why I don’t use Swan Bitcoin, because the sales team is terrible and the customer service sucks. I DM’ed a couple podcasters, like they tell me to on every show, and never got a response. Then I filled out the contact form on the website and no one responded. I attempted to contact a few more times and finally gave up. Then about a month later some random salesman emailed me and asked me to set an appointment on his calendar. When we finally talked he didn’t know about any products and told me to reach out to someone else. After a couple of attempts to contact again, I gave up again. Then sometime later I got a random marketing email that eventually led to a phone call with another poorly trained salesperson.

A company’s sales force is a representation of its functional and organizational capabilities. Im not going to transfer my Roth IRA to such a poorly organized company.

The marketing is great but whoever is running the salespeople is doing a terrible job.

This is one of the most beautiful

/sexy cars ever made. I put together a Porsche 550 from Tom McBurnie at Thunder Ranch. The same guy who built the “Miami Vice Ferrari.” He made a few prototypes of this car based on a 240Z. It actually had better performance numbers than the original. Ferrari sued the shit out of him and the production vehicle never came to fruition.

What most people don’t realize is that this technology is already installed on most vehicles. On Star = kill switch. A vehicle with any type of factory installed: gps, roadside assistance or hotspot probably has remote kill capability. Even Bluetooth enabled vehicles. Law enforcement agencies haven’t been given the go ahead to use them yet. That’s what this bill is really about. Imagine government having the ability to remotely disable everyone’s vehicles in order to enforce a quarantine?

Secondly, the driver ability kill switch is also already installed too. Try taking a modern car to a snowy parking lot and doing some donuts. The newest car we own is a 2016 Kia and it kills itself every time the back end slides a few feet. How are people supposed to learn how to drive in snow? By learning what it feels like to loose control behind the wheel and then understanding how to regain it by operating the controls is a critical part of learning how to drive IMHO. Thank goodness the government is doing their best to protect me from myself. I might learn how to evade them.

If you are on NOSTR you are on a list. If you have a bank account, drivers license, government ID you are on a list. Birth certificate? Social Security number? Both lists. Own a gun, list. Buy a house or car, list list and list. Ever been to a doctor, have health insurance? Own a smartphone? Not only does that put you on several lists but you are transmitting gigs of data about yourself to your service provider and the companies that developed every app you installed.

It’s not about being on a list, we are all on a bunch of government lists. It’s about not giving a fuck and living one’s life regardless. It’s also about teaching them about government overreach so they can work on limiting government as they become adults. Oops, I said “limit government” now I’m on another list 😀

I don’t, I’m teaching people how bitcoin works. First we buy KYC, next I’ll teach them about software watches and moving their bitcoin off exchanges. Then we’ll move on to hardware wallets. I’ll explain why o but pen source and bitcoin only. Then we’ll get raspberry Pi’s and build our own nodes. One step at a time.

If you take a newby and start using unfamiliar language and technical jargon you will stop the learning process because they don’t understand. If you start with the basics and teaching by doing people tend to become curious about the next steps.

Oh yeah, I saw y’all on Nostr the other day. Looks pretty cool. They both put together their own gaming PC’s so I think this could be a fun family project.

Operation Chokepoint goes just as far as we think. I own a small business and my payroll company won’t direct deposit into my Fold Card account. We checked the numbers several times, confirmed it with Fold and the payroll company still says it’s an invalid routing number. They are lying.

I tried to get my teenage sons set up on Fold, Strike or Swan so they could start DCAing a few dollars a week. We tried each app one by one and the text confirmation never came through. We tried several times over the course of a month or so, following solutions posted in each app’s FAQ and changing settings according to what I found on the internet, with no success. Eventually, after spending several hours researching the problem I discovered that the phone service provider, AT&T, was blocking conformation texts from companies that are not on its approved list.

We had to physically call AT&T and sign a document to allow text confirmations from companies our service provider didn’t think were “safe” for us.

My response to the whole thing “Congratulations boys, I think you are on your first government watchlist.” and “Guess whose going to get a hardware wallet for Christmas?!”

I miss your notes about eggs, mushrooms and homemade pesto. About a month ago you posted “I believe Bitcoin fixes religious dogma.

Something about freedom that allows one to honor the humility it takes to harness it.

To be clear, I'm not saying believing in something is bad - the attempt to force stuff down others' throats on the other hand...”

What are you doing to fix the problem? I’m not asking to be derogatory or confrontational. I’m asking to remind you of your core beliefs. What can you do to bring peaceful humility to the problem at hand?

This response from nostr:npub1t8a7uumfmam38kal4xaakzyjccht4y5jxfs4cmlj0p768pxtwu8skh56yu to the Federal Reserve is beautiful.

“We have no interest in causing confusion, mistakes, or deception. That sounds more like a job for those responsible for telling the market they wouldn’t raise rates after a massive monetary expansion, and then went on to raise them faster than at any time in U.S. financial history.”

Everyone that reads this should reply with this image and repost.

I’ll take it one step further: working for the state should not be able to provide a living. The founding fathers all had other jobs. Many state and local government jobs are considered “part time”. Texas legislators get paid $7200 a year. My state, Tennessee, pays legislators $24,313. Many states fall in between that range. It is my belief that no employee should be paid more than their boss or the chain of command breaks down. IE: If the employee can bribe the boss… who is really in charge?
