I’ve got a lot of respect for artists who delve deeper in the self-portrait. Do I believe this person is myself, my own human body. Who knows me better than me. Best to to make additions and subtractions to how I think I look or to be open and honest in this world. How much of this portrait is truly all you and how much of it is not. 😊

Captured a number of years ago this self portrait was finished in pencil and watercolour. For me this was a time that was particularly special in my heart. The freedoms I had, the time and willingness to fling myself into places and people. This felt like the springboard of my life. Creating this gave me time to register and reflect.
