It is not enforcing multiracionalism. The USA is a multiracial society. And DEI is a tool to give more equality between people with different ethnic roots.
And how we as a society organize ourselves is an active decision. It is not enforced by anyone else but the sum of the individual desires how society works.
Non exclusion over forced inclusion. I don't think we need a half black nhl or a half white nba(discriminating against whites is ok somehow). Not that I watch. If you don't exclude, you provide the equality of opportunity. Everyone can find their niche.
