Just connect to some paid relays and leave nostr free!

I think these informations should be more clear on the nostr home page because there are something like about ID verification process NIP-05 and maybe a programmer can think about ID which make with a key-gen command, but normal people who read that can think about a real govt ID.

I have a question for you Derek: in the future will be valid my self check on my domain ? or people should pay your service to use nostr ? what I mean , is a copycat of blue check of twitter who one people need to pay to stay , or is a service for people who don't have a domain or not much technical enought to self checkmark nip-05 ? Please, Don't answer me this is decentralized. I want to know if you and others relay owners create a sort of private limbo to stay here , to read and post message. what this your view about that?
The point is that:
Lighting network is for blockchains , high cost to maintain it.
Nostr is a simple protocol, is very cheap about cost to maintain and also simple just like access to the internet. To create a node in LN a normal people should study a lot. With Nostr not. It's completely different architecture. It's protocol like we use today https to read the website, or smtp for outgoing emails, or pop3 or imap to receive emails, these are protocols we use today. Nostr can have space in the future. Maybe. We will see. 😃
thinking about nostr protocol only for lighting / bitcoin use is very small view. Do you understand how many payments are done every day in the world with bitcoin? Compare this number with number of emails, etc etc many others things which we are using every day. If nostr protocol will be successfull many of this services can in the future using nostr protocol instead older protocol actually used today.
