Ask me advice on food, cooking and wine! Husband & Father of Two Human Resources. Private Chef & Sommelier. Hobby Vigneron. Grapes priced in Sats. Everything becomes cheaper on a bitcoin standard. Node runner and Bitaxe lottery miner. Bitcoin is an ego test. Never stop learning.

Thank Jin! Keep cooking!!!

Your own the right track! I think about the fiat I could be making going back to work in some billionaire’s home. Working 50-60hrs a week being a servant. Working for myself at my home kitchen making less yet being around for my family is priceless. Keep up the great work.

Eat & Drink Well.

Binged the Murderbot TV show over the past two days. 10 eps, about half an hour each.

So. Good. šŸ‘ šŸ‘

Season 1 covers the first novella, All Systems Red, written by Martha Wells (https://www.marthawells.com).

The show reduced the number of PresAux characters, altered some relationships and emphasized others, added some new scenes, and overall, sharpened what was in the book.

It absolutely captures the heart and anxiety that is Murderbot.

I re-read the novella after watching the show. It’s fun to now have a voice for Murderbot and faces for the other characters.

Looking forward to season 2 …. and to finding out who they cast to voice ART … ?!

The only quibble I have (and it’s tiny), is that the promo image for the show has replaced the book cover of All Systems Red on my Kindle, because I love the original cover art by Jaime Jones (https://www.artpad.org). But I still have the print paperback and hardcover so I guess I’m fine. 😬

Will have to check out the book!

You can just grill stuff. #foodstr #steakstr

What is smoking? I’m going to smoke some black garlic marinated tri-tip tomorrow for my clients.

Thanks Chef! HorvƔth looks amazing, keep up the great work.

We take said milk; warm it up and take the curdled protein out, then add mold to it, let it denature, finally we eat it. šŸ§€

July is always so foggy and misty it’s like a winter break in the middle of summer. Just finished rereading Folks, this ain’t normal. A farmer’s advice for happier hens, healthier people, and a better world by Joel Salatin.

It’s been 10yrs and it hits harder today, especially with two children running around. Real food is expensive in fiat but cheap for a better world. Drink and eat well ~ Local summer vegetables in pastured chicken & duck stock with lovage and basil flowers ~ 2021 Aequorin, Chardonnay - Antica Terra, Eola-Amity Hills, Oregon.

"Getting Back to Basics: Reclaiming What Truly Matters"

" THIS IS A TRUTH POST FOR ME šŸ™šŸ¼ "

It's a strange feeling, being let go from something you poured your heart into. Especially when the values you held dear – client well-being, genuine connection, and frankly, family – got overshadowed by the relentless pursuit of profit. That's exactly what happened when my vision for a client-first landscaping company clashed with their insatiable hunger for the bottom line.

My priority was always clear: supporting my wife through her battle with cancer and being present for our three kids. That meant being available for appointments, being a true family man, and finding a balance where work served life, not the other way around. They chose money. I chose my family. And ultimately, I was fired for it.

But sometimes, getting knocked down is the universe's way of telling you to get back to your roots. This isn't about doing something wrong; it's about humbling myself, shedding the corporate greed, and rediscovering the genuine engagement and joy that first drew me to this work.

Now, I'm starting from the ground up, doing my own thing. It's about remembering why I loved landscaping in the first place – the honest work, the satisfied clients, and the ability to build something beautiful with my own hands. More importantly, it's about building a life where I'm truly present for my family, finding happiness and enjoyment in every small victory, and proving that you don't need to chase endless wealth to find true fulfillment.

This is my journey back to basics, back to genuine purpose, and back to myself.

This is the way! I started working for myself 5yrs ago and I wouldn’t have it any other way now. Gradually then suddenly. You will do great!

Yeah I was like what’s a grape that would be an early ripening but this early! šŸ˜‚

I use K. Sabatier high carbon. I used to use many different Japanese styles like folded steel and high carbon but stopped after 12yrs.

It’s totally crazy to me that in America and Europe the MSM basically don’t cover the continent of Africa. This is where people need bitcoin the most.

Nice half pint deli ashtray, classic.
